(Vampire!Ouma x Saihara) Adorable Eyes

(Valentine Vampire Oneshot! Kind of based on Vampire Charm AU in my other book)

(Basically, it's an AU where there are vampires and they all have one trait about them that can charm mortals and make them fall in love with them.)

Shuichi watched his crush as he talked to his friends during class.

Ouma.

He was laughing with the two of his friends, Kaede and Rantaro and Shuichi couldn't help smile as Ouma laughed at Rantaro's jokes. Ouma was Shuichi's friend ever since kindergarten and his crush for over two years. Ouma and he were friends, but Shuichi wanted to be something more. He loved Ouma. The silly games and tricks he'd pull on people, his personality, everything. However, Shuichi knew he'd never be anything to Ouma more than a friend, for you see Ouma had something which made him special in the eyes of anyone that looked at him.

His sparkly, star, purple eyes.

He was known to attract the attention of others purely for that reason and was quite popular along with a few others of his friends. They were just... irresistible. This made Ouma a person surrounded by admirers. Even if his behavior was annoying and he was a brat, nobody could resist the charm of those amethyst eyes.

He wanted to confess today because today was Valentine's Day. They both made plans to go for ice cream together at a nice parlor by the park and after they had ice cream was when Saihara planned to confess and give him a the heart locket Ouma saw at the store and told him about. It was a golden, heart-shaped locket with the words 'The One' on it. Ouma said it looked cheesy but cute and he'd love to receive a goofy gift like that one day. There was a low chance that Saihara even had a chance with Ouma considering the large number of people Ouma was adored by every day. He'd be just one of many in the crowd of people. 

Eventually, class ended and everybody packed their bags, trying to get as fast as they can out of the classroom, ignoring whatever teacher had to say. Ouma and Saihara decided to go together as their lockers were next to each other. Shuichi looked forward to today because they both planned to go out an ice cream together. However, the first thing he heard from Ouma after they were next to their lockers was

"Hey, Shuichi, I'm really really sorry, but I have to cancel our plans."

"What? Why?" Shuichi asked confused. Ouma has never canceled plans on him. Okay, that sentence sounded a bit creepy but Shuichi couldn't help but wonder. "I...uhh...I made plans with someone, and I must show up. I'm sorry Shuichi" he said saddened. Shuichi sighed "I-It's fine...It's nothing." Shuichi said hiding the heart locket. "Shuichi, we'll just have to go for ice cream later. Sorry, it's a bit last minute..." He said nervously. "N-No! Really i-it's okay...Go, we'll just have to hang out later." Saihara said. "Great!" Ouma said with a smile. 

They both went out and started heading in the direction of Shuichi's house before Ouma had to part ways and go hang out with whoever he was hanging out that day. However, that's when a slight tinge of curiosity tugged on Shuichi. Where was Ouma heading to anyway? I mean, Shuichi knew Ouma did this kind of thing every week or two where he'd disappear without a trace for half a day or even don't show up to school at all because he was 'meeting up with someone'. It was regular. So going against his better judgment, he turned around and sneakily followed Ouma. 

After about five minutes Ouma eventually stopped in front of some random boy. "Sorry you had to wait, honey!" he said with a light blush on his cheeks. The boy was a little taller than Ouma, with light blond hair which covered his eye and pale skin. He also wore a scarf, similar to Ouma's and had eye bags. "Honey?" Shuichi thought. Was this boy Ouma's secret boyfriend? "It's okay, seeing your adorable face makes everything worth it." the boy said making Ouma giggle "Aww! That's so sweet of you Riko! So what did you plan for us?" he said excitement in his voice. "I thought we could go to the movies together, then maybe grab a drink before heading over to my place?" the boy said quietly. "Your place? Hmmm, sounds interesting~." Ouma said in an almost flirty tone. Shuichi felt his heart break in half. Did Ouma have a secret boyfriend...? What bothered him more is that he had completely left everyone out of his love life. He promised they'd share everything about their lives with each other...no secrets. Shuichi shook his head. No that sounded wrong if Ouma wanted privacy in his love life that's fine. I guess it was just his jealousy talking. He gripped tighter on the locket.
