(Ouma x Saihara) Happy Birthday!

(I can't believe I forgot our shy boi's birthday...so have this quick shot)

Shuichi walked saddened through the hallways of his room. Today had probably been the unluckiest day of his life. His friends had completely forgotten about his birthday. He didn't expect them to give him a gift or anything but a 'Happy Birthday!' from at least one person would be nice. He had also been ignored by others when asked to hang out. 

"Hey Kaede, want to go together to the library?" Shuichi asked with a smile. Kaede looked at him before giving him a sad look. "I'm sorry Shuichi but I don't feel like reading books today" Kaede said awkwardly. "Well, then we can hang out and do something else? How about...piano?" he asked. "I just really don't feel like hanging out with you Shuichi. I feel really sick. I'm probably sick" she said fake coughing before running away, not letting Shuichi respond. "Oh...okay...see ya" he whispered as he stood in the hallway alone.

They'd say excuses like 'I promised to hang out with someone else today.' or 'I'm really busy Shuichi.' which Shuichi could clearly see were lies. But probably the saddest part was

Kokichi was doing it too.

"Hi, Kokichi!" Shuichi said with a smile, kissing Kokichi on the lips. He was surprised however when Ouma pulled away with a straight face. "Ugh, Shuichi I don't have time for this today!" he groaned walking away, Shuichi just standing there not knowing what he had done wrong.

Kokichi had been Shuichi's boyfriend for some time now but today on a day Shuichi held dear, he seemed to have specifically annoyed him. He seemed almost irritated by him. It made Shuichi feel as though he had done something wrong, something bad. To top it all off, his hat  has gone missing. He was currently on his way to his house sorrowful. Could this day get any worse?

He walked up to his house only to realized it was open. Great, did he get robbed as well? He closed the door., he walked around to every room. He noted the weird chalk marks on his dark wooden floor leading to the living room door. He decided to follow them. When he opened the door his eyes widened. There was a circle of sixteen little gift boxes with a giant purple and blue gift in the middle. He looked at it confused. He came closer. He was about to touch the box when the box popped open. Shuichi's eyes widened as Kokichi rose up from the box full of confetti, throwing it in the air.

"Haaappy Birthday beloved~!" 

Shuichi grinned and couldn't stop himself from laughing. "What was that? I thought you forgot about my birthday!" Shuichi said with a chuckle. Kokichi shook his head before pulling out a boxed small cake hidden in the confetti. "I made a scheme. I avoided you for the entire day and made your friends avoid you too so I can do this! But your friend left you gifts and put them in this." he said. "I never gave you the key to my house ...did you also picklock the door?" Shuichi asked. Ouma nodded and Shuichi couldn't even get mad at him. He was just glad Ouma was there smiling at him again. "Now it's your birthday! Time to cut the cake!" Ouma said with a smile

And so they ate cake together.  

Bonus:

"Speaking of which why did you make my friends avoid me?" Shuichi asked. Ouma smirked. "That's because I have... another gift" he spoke as he slid a heart-shaped key across the table. Shuichi blushed heavily. "I'll make sure you enjoy your gift, my dear Shumai~" he purred. Shuichi gulped.

" I-I'd like that..."
