(Pregame!Ouma x Pregame!Kaito) Sleepover

(For M3ga00f as the reward for getting the NicoB reference in the Superhero!Saihara x Villian!Ouma oneshot first)

Kaito walked through the empty streets. He decided to take a short walk. He always enjoyed looking at the stars even though he knew they were nothing but boring hot spheres in the deepness of the cosmos who were beyond anybody's reach. He sighed when suddenly he heard a faint noise coming from the alley he passed.

"S-Stop, please"

Now Kaito wasn't the nosey type. In fact, he barely gave a shit about anyone. Maybe a few friends but that's all. After all, someone who watches a show like Danganronpa every single day of their life with the awareness that these people really died is not exactly a fan of people. But this day he chose to follow the voice. He didn't have a reason. He just went with it.

He peeked around the corner. A purple-haired boy was curled on the ground as to taller boys were kicking him in the gut. He recognized him. It was Kokichi Ouma, a classmate of his and what could be described as the Ultimate Bully Victim. He constantly was bullied by students for no real reason, especially by some prestigious jackass by the name of Amami. Now if you took a first glance at Kaito you'd think he'd be the first to jump at the 'bully Kokichi bandwagon'. He was known as a bully so it would be no surprise, but

You can't be more wrong.

Kaito always saw something about Kokichi. He didn't know what it was, his innocence, his kindness or the fact he was the only person who was upfront about liking Danganronpa since most fans just never spoke of it and watched it nonstop only in the comfort of their homes or wherever there was enough peace and quiet but something about him made Kaito avoid and generally ignore the brat. On occasion they had an encounter engaging in rather uncomfortable small talk but that's it.

He just silently watched as the two bullies continued to beat him relentlessly but after a few seconds of this Kaito had found himself feeling something strange. Sadness. The sight of the boy's crying bloody face made his heart feel as if it was repeatedly stabbed with a knife. He gritted his teeth. He hated that emotion but he knew the only way to get rid of it was to eliminate the source. He looked around finding a conveniently placed brick laying on the ground. He took it and slowly crept up to the bullies.

"Yeah! That's what you get for being a fucking cun-!" The bullies' insult was disrupted as the brick collided with the back of his head and later his friend's head. A normal person would probably be phased by this but for Kaito it only reminded him of Danganronpa. He stared as Kokichi slowly realized that the pain stopped. "H-Huh...?" He said looking around seeing the blood ooze from the oppressor's head. He looked up at Kaito's dark figure as he himself was on his knees, nose bleeding and with a black eye and a few cuts. Kaito reached out his hand and Ouma blushed before taking it and standing up on shaking legs.

"C'mon let's go, they're not going to be out for long." Kaito said grabbing Ouma harshly by the hand and pulling him out the alley. If he gets the brat to safety his heart will be at ease too. He pulled him out of the alley and into the street. Kokichi rubbed his arm while looking at the ground. "T-Thank you...n-nobody has e-ever done that f-for m-me..." Ouma stuttered causing a light pink blush to appear on his cheeks. Kaito huffed trying to ignore the signal to blush due to how adorable Kokichi was.

"Shut up. What are you even doing here, shouldn't you be at home?" He asked as the boy's eyes suddenly filled with fear. "I-I..." he stuttered trailing off but Kaito was up to just get rid of the uncomfortable feeling of pity and just get this ordeal over with. He grabbed Kokichi by the collar of his shirt making him squeak. "Tell. me." he said coldly making Ouma gulp. "I-I think...I m-might have a stalker..." he whispered as Kaito let go of him. "A stalker?" Kaito only repeated dumbfounded.
