You instantly rush into the room at the sound of her voice and see Hoseok standing with his head raised with strength- He clearly wasn't afraid of her, unlike you. You gulp as you scurry behind Hoseok and grip the back of his shirt.

"I asked if you could either treat Y/N better or leave." Hoseok speaks softly as he reaches back to you and rests a hand on your back. You peek around the side of him and see his parents sitting with proud expressions.

"You have no right to tell me what to do, young man." Your mother retaliates as she stands up and glides towards him. Hoseok strands straight and clings onto you slightly tighter as she glances around him to glare at you.

"And you can't talk to my son like that. I have no problem with your daughter but if you continue to be a problem, we may have to exclude you from interactions." Hoseok's father announces as he stands and heads towards your mother who raises an eyebrow and scoffs.

"Fine. I never wanted to be a part of this anyway. Come on, we are leaving." You mother mutters as she grabs your wrist and yanks you from behind Hoseok.

"I'm not leaving!" You yell at her as you pull yourself free and run into Hoseok's waiting arms. He wraps himself protectively around you and turns so your mother couldn't get you.

"Honey, please can we just leave?" You father begs softly as he heads towards the door. Your mother keeps her eyes locked on you solidly as Hoseok's parents slowly step towards you.

"You want to stay with Hoseok? Even if you aren't forced to?" His mother crouches slightly so she can talk to you softly. You nod quickly and cling onto Hoseok as he rests his chin on your head. His parents look up to him slowly and he nods, agreeing.

"Oh as if! You were horrified by him a few days ago!" Your mother screams as she points a finger at Hoseok who flares back at her. You gulp and reluctantly pull away from Hoseok, turning to face her.

"Yeah well, i'm deciding to stay with him." You raise your eyebrows at her as you cross your arms. She scoffs and looks Hoseok up and down before spinning on her heel and storming out of the house. As you watch her leave, you feel unfamiliar arms slowly wrap around you.

"Well done, dear. And welcome to the family." Hoseok's mother whispers softly into your ear. You smile happily as you give your father a quick wave before the door closes between you.

"Honey, we've gotta go." Hoseok's father suddenly clears his throat and the arms around you are removed. You turn around to see Hoseok frowning deeply as his parents begin to say goodbye.

"We've got a business trip and will be gone a month or so. You'll be alright, i'm sure." His mother hugs him tightly and he slowly hugs back as his features are overtaken with sadness. Your heart aches when you see him so upset and you bite your lip as you watch the emotional scene unfold.

"You'll be okay?" Hoseok mumbles softly as his father pats him on the head gently. His parents both nod with genuine smiles and Hoseok relaxes slightly.

"Okay, sweetheart. Remember we love you." His mother quickly kisses you on the cheek before turning on her heel to face you. "Look after him." She smile softly, her voice cracking slightly. You smile back as she hugs you lightly and the two swiftly leave the house. You and Hoseok stand in silence staring at the door for a while before he sighs shakily.

"Damn, i hated that." He mutters softly as he walks over to you and gently slips his hand under your chin. You slowly look up at him and frown as you see him beaming at you.

"What?" You tilt your head slowly as he cups both cheeks with his large hands and looks down at you lovingly. He chuckles softly and shakes his head at you.

"You honestly want to stay?" He asks softly as he begins to caress your cheek. You blush as you look up into his eyes and melt into his hands.

"Yeah. I think." You reply slowly as you scan his face and he smiles brightly. He licks his lips before they meet with yours.

"Good. I get to keep you." Hoseok smirks as he pecks your lips again. You giggle softly as he removes his
hands from your cheek and steps back with a proud smile. "I want to show you off." He suddenly said with a huge smile.

"You what?" You frown deeply. Hoseok presses his finger to your lips before grabbing your hand and rushing towards the door.
