I can see the dim sunlight through the light blue curtains I have already parted. The monotonous beeps monitors my world’s heart rate as his chest rises and falls with every breath he takes.

Yoongi insisted that we go home, yesterday when the doctors wanted to keep him under surveillance. He is now 83 years old. His frail hand is wrapped around mine and there are tubes all over his body.

In his master room, on the bedside he kept a picture of our wedding and the prom. The wedding photo is fairly large and this is the best Taehyung ever did, according to my salty husband, Min Yoongi.

Both of us look so pure, so happy together, with gold rings shining in our hands with the background of pink and white peonies.

Jin and Namjoon Oppa took care of all arrangements, as I heard. They were so right that pink, white of the peonies would match the purple of the lilacs of my bouquet.

All of them are married. Well, they are of course old just like Yoongi and I. We all had the happiness we wished for and I can say that though the wedding night of ours was awkward for the both of us, we managed it for sixty years now. It raises blushes on my hollow cheeks now.

Yoongi opens his wrinkled eyes.

Yeobo, I feel really sleepy.”

“As if you are awake.” I smirk.

“You never stop that, do you?”

“Me stop what, jagiya?”

“You still give me shivers. See?”

Yoongi stretches his hand out and I can see faint goosebumps.

“Admit it, Min Yoongi... I still affect you a lot.”

Several teeth of Yoongi’s upper jaw are missing now. But he shows his gums and smiles.

“Just AFFECT would be an understatement.”

He gives a throaty chuckles and coughs.

“I told you not to joke, pabo! See now.”

I massage his chest and help him to gulp down some water.

“I feel better now,” Yoongi says as he winks.

“Why all of a sudden? Grow up, you big pervert.”

“As if I can grow older than this. I am already 83, if you did not know.”

“I am 83 as well, but I do not make silly references like you, dumbo.”

Arayo. That is why I married you, I knew that you’d raise perfect kids with me.”

“Little Tae and Soohyun are on their way. They said that they wanted to have a family dinner with us,” I reply.

“Who is going to cook?”

“They will order take-away. But they are anyway coming here, so do not worry.”

“It is wonderful that our kids still keep an eye on us. But most of this generation do not.”

“That is because both of us raised them really really well and they are grateful. They are good too.”

Yoongi smiles and nods.

Though we wanted seven children, we actually had two. Soohyun and Taehyung because of TaeTae and our baby was so playful like him. For the remaining five, we started sponsoring a children’s home. Rather than having so many babies, we can look after the ones who need parents. We can love them too. I was so happy that Yoongi agreed with my idea. As he said, “Love is for everyone to share.”
