Zadie
Once Tristen pulled up to my house, I got up to jump out and run inside. I saw there were a lot of cops outside and an ambulance.
I didn't even bother to say goodbye or to say anything to Tristen. I was so worried about what I was going to see, I just ran and rushed up to my house. Once I got in the door I flung it open and saw cops taking pictures and dusting for prints.
"MOM!" I yelled through the commotion of people in the house talking. I walked into the kitchen and some more people dusting and taking more pictures. I looked around and didn't see my mom, dad, or Faye. I ran upstairs to look for her.
"Mom" I yelled again once I got up to the top landing and walked down the hall to the bedrooms.
"I'm in here." My mom called from Faye's room. I ran into it and found her packing Faye's clothes in a duffle bag.
"What's going on. Where is Faye?" I asked
"She's been taken to the hospital. She got pushed out her chair and hit her head. I'm afraid that she'll have to stay in there for a day or two, so I'm packing her a bag just in case." My mom said
"Where's dad?" I asked
"He's talking to the police making sure anything that could have been stolen or that could have been taken is accounted for." She said
I nodded and took a few deep breaths. "Why did no one go to the hospital with Faye? You or dad didn't think to get in the ambulance with her?" I asked
"Zadie, the ambulance is still downstairs. I am going with her so don't think to jump to conclusions like that." My mom said
"Now why don't you be productive and make sure everything you have is still accounted for." My mom said before walking out.
I walked out of Faye's room and into mine. I looked around my room and nothing much seemed to be missing. I didn't have anything that was irreplaceable or any kind of family heirlooms or anything like that, so my bed being knocked over and my clothes being ransacked isn't a big deal to me. I walked into my closet and started moving my clothes around. On the floor I saw that there was a symbol painted into the carpet. It was the L5 symbol.
I shook my head and was confused. I had no bad feelings with anyone in the L5, why would someone do this to m...then a picture popped into my head of Lisa. Lisa and Shannon came to my house a few weeks ago and pressed me at my doorstep about being friends with Tristen.
She is the only one that doesn't like me from the L5 but the fact that she would go this far and hurt my sister is taking it to another level. I grabbed my phone and my keys and headed out my room door. Once I got downstairs I called Amie and she answered the phone quickly.
"All my single ladies, All my single ladies. All the single ladies, all the single ladies. Now put cha hands UP!" She sang into the phone.
"Amie chill, I gotta tell you something important." I said
"Oou wait me first. You won't believe who me and Sean saw having lunch together today at the Olive Garden." Amie said
"Amie listen this is important." I said but she continued to talk
"It was Rolland and Lisa! Girl they was burning candle light over a plate of shrimp alfredo. And I don't think that was just alfredo sauce she had on her cheek if you know what I mean." Amie said
"Amie can you stop and listen for a minute, Faye got.....Wait he was with Lisa today? L5 Lisa?! My house was broken into today by someone in the L5 and you mean to tell me my bitter petty ex was out with Lisa today?!" I said
