Once we got back to my house I pulled in, in front of Tristen and parked.

Tristen got out his car halfway. "I'm going home."

"Whoa wait! What happened back there!?" I asked

"Yeah man who did it?" Alijah asked

"It was Tazz." Tristen said

"Wait what?" I asked

"He would never kill a kid." Alijah said

"That's what I thought too, but Video don't lie." Tristen said

Slim started crying and looking at us. "You all know this Tazz guy?" She asked

"He's a friend, and L5." Tristen said

"Why would he kill my daughter?" Slim asked

"He wouldn't, something is wrong and I'm gonna ask him myself." Tristen said

"He's still with Yuri, he ain't back until Friday or Saturday." Alijah said

"How do I know it wasn't one of you? How do I know that this has nothing to do with you all." Slim asked

"We just helped you find your daughters killer, I suggest you ease your tone. Me and my friends have done nothing to make you feel like we were a problem." I said

"Just tell me the truth dammit. Are  you all in o this?!" Slim asked

"Are we in on this? If we were in on this why would we have looked in on it? We could have just pinned it on someone else and you would have believed it. But instead we found out that it was one of our friends who killed a child. So shut that shit up." Alijah said

"We'll speak to Tazz when he gets back, and then you hold up your end of the deal. Then we done." Tristen said

"For now I just need some time." He said and got into his car.

Zadie ran over and got into his passenger side and closed the door. They exchanged words back and forth and then Tristen pulled off, shaking his head.

"Should we follow him?" I asked

"Nah, I think he needs some time too cool off right now." Alijah said and I nodded

"I'll take you home Slim." Alijah said to her. She nodded and then got into his car.

"Amie."

"Yeah?" She said to me.

"I know this might be bad timing, but we do have reservations tonight." I said

"Oh my god yes. Babe can we reschedule for tomorrow please?" She asked

I smiled at her "Sure".

"Okay babe, you wanna come sleep over tonight?" She asked

I wanted to but I didn't because I knew if I did I would spill out my secret. "Nah baby I'm good. I'm going to just stay home okay?" I said

"Okay." She said looking suspicious.

While I was driving home, Zadie wasn't saying much. She kept looking at me and then back out the window but I think she could tell that I didn't wanna talk.

I pulled up to her house and put my car in park waiting for her to open the door to get out. When she didn't I looked over at her and she was already staring at me. "Zadie are you.."
