I reverted back to my school uniform, a playful smile dancing on my lips.
"That was fun!" I quipped, raising my right hand and giving a wink.
Sting grinned back, high-fiving my palm.
But Rogue was a little less happy, a few irk marks popping up on his forehead. "Look around you." He growled, barely containing his anger.
Doing a double take at my surroundings, I see fallen maple trees, dozens of Vulcan bodies draped over the grassy ground, the three unconcious Wyverns in a heap, and large chunks of unearthed soil.
Also known as about five percent of 'Fairy Tail style' destruction.
"It's not that bad...when you compare it to what I go through every day." I stated, looking at Rogue innocently.
I see how his knuckles were turning white from the pressure of his tight clench, and shadows were consuming his body.
He's losing it...
"Okay, okay, I'll just fix it!" I cried, when Sting poked me in the ribs. Glaring at Sting, I retaliate with a punch before readying my magic.
"Arc of Time: Reversal!" I shouted, pressing my palms onto the ground. Instantly, a pale gold magic circle appeared beneath me. It covers the damaged area, and the trees glow bright yellow.
In less than a minute, everything was back to normal. Thankfully, Rogue has calmed down as well.
"But seriously though, if Natsu and the others took this job, not just this park, the entire city block would be demolished too." I sighed, sweatdropping.
"True..." The Twin Dragons agreed. Just then, Benji woke up.
"Rogue-san, I'm so sorry for not helping out!" He burst into anime tears.
I was expecting Rogue to just brush it off, so I was really shocked when he smiled instead, comforting Benji awkwardly.
I have a feeling that he's just treating Benji like Frosch though...
"So are you guys heading to your mission site?" Rogue asked, pointing to the S-class quest sheet poking out of my bag.
"Nope, we've finished it already!" Sting smirked, holding up his share of the reward.
"They weren't even strong enough to put up a decent fight!" He continued, puffing out his chest smugly.
"Yeah right, says the one who only took out a quarter and left the rest to me..." I muttered beneath my breath. Of course, I was loud enough for Rogue to hear me.
Seeing him snicker at Sting--who was extremely embarrassed--, I grin victoriously.
You didn't have to tell him that!
But that was the truth, right? Sting-kun~ heeheehee
...
I'll buy you crêpes next time.
Okay, I forgive you!
...Got tricked again...
Smiling at Rogue, I ask, "We were about to get some crêpes, do you guys want to come as well?"
He nodded with a grin, and Benji looked apprehensive before accepting as well. "Don't get the wrong idea, I just don't want to miss the opportunity of spending time with the Twin Dragons!" He added, shouting at me.
