Sting

I have never seen Kasumi lose control before.

Now, she stood beside me, determination radiating off her in the form of pulsing Ethernano waves.

Honestly, it had sent shivers down my spine when she went crazy just now. Her eyes, those two vacant orbs that glowed like fresh blood, raven black draconic slits in the centre.

They were devoid of light.

Was that...her dragon force?

'No' a voice inside answered. I knew, deep in my heart, that it wasn't. 'Her true power is much more, so much more than what she just showed'

But now, her eyes were back to normal, the shining azure optics that I loved.

And they were filled with rage.

I had only seen her like this, once. Back when Milady had nearly torn Lucy Heartfillia apart.

Those brilliant blue eyes of hers held a raging tornado like none other.

"No one," She had snarled, her pure anger alone making the Ethernano concentration in the air spike, the invisible waves causing her long cyan hair to flow like the erratic waves of stormy seas. "No one messes with MY FAMILY!"

The impact of her words had sent the force of Ethernano around her in a circular radius, a slash of harsh wind driving the impact throughout the entire stadium.

Milady's composure was still that confident smirk, but I knew that she was shaken.

Why?

No one has ever forced her to take a step back before.

A growl, harsh and grating on our ears, snapped me out of my thoughts.

"They're here." Kasumi spoke, her voice serious.

We were all standing in the doorway of the Kardia Cathedral, magic lighting up our fists as the demons charged.

Natsu.

Gray.

Erza.

Lucy.

Wendy.

Gajeel.

Laxus.

Milady.

Yukino.

Rogue.

Benji.

Me.

Kasumi.

"LET'S GO!!!" Erza hollered, holding her sword forward as she ran to meet the demons, followed closely by us.

time skip

"Almost..." Erza huffed, holding up her sword as she Requiped her Flame Empress armor. "...There!"

She made a smart choice. The demons she fought against were ice type demons.

The demons seem to be specialised in a particular magic type, several different groups ranging from fire to ice magic. They were generally weak, heavy lugs of flesh that didn't do much damage, but the sheer number of them all made us feel physically drained.

Maybe I was too preoccupied fighting, but when I turned around to search for Kasumi, she was gone.

Damn! Where did she go?

Suddenly, an explosion from the top floor shook the entire Kardia Cathedral. The light brown smoke that ensued was laced with the remnants of seven hued light, and I immediately knew where my mate was.

Heh...making a ruckus Fairy Tail style, eh?

From the debris, five slain demon flew out, followed by a completely different Kasumi.

Her hair was as black as night, streaking out behind her in her signature twin-tails. She wore a long black coat with a white star on the back with a pair of black leather gloves, and a black bikini top paired by denim shorts of similar hue. Inky black shin-length boots covered her strong calves, and shadowy leggings wrapped around her legs.

The thing that caught my eye was the pair of lances that radiated with bright blue energy from their barrels.

One of her azure eyes were glowing with smoking cyan.

"Requip: Black Rock Shooter!"

That was an armor?!

The sharp, spiked lances pooled Ethernano directly from Kasumi's magic storage, releasing a barrage of Ethernano lasers that knocked down a few more monsters.

Landing in a squat from a graceful somersault, she stood up and smirked at us.

"Close your traps before you attract flies." She teased, winking at me. I couldn't help but blush at her playful gaze.

She's finally back to normal...

Turning around, she changed her weapons into a katana with a black hilt.

"And Benji?" She added with her back facing us, but I could hear the grin in her voice. She turned around, a slender finger on her naturally peach hued lips. "Don't tell anyone about what my magic."

She sent a slash of pure Ethernano that sliced right through the wall behind him to warn him further.

"Y-yes..." He stuttered, utterly terrified of the girl that was smiling angelically, but underneath bore devilish powers.

Though, the strength the Kasumi I know is showing right now, was just the tip of the iceberg.

Those demons had better watch out.
