"I love you, Kasumi..." I whispered into her ear. The seconds that ticked by felt like an eternity. As my heart rate quickened in nervous palpitation, I worried about her rejection.
What if she doesn't feel the same way? What if she hates me now? What if-
"I love you too, my hikari..." She looked at me with those dazzling eyes of hers, the tears of joy shining in them amplified their brightness and pure beauty.
With those five words, she made my heart skip a beat. Relief washed over me upon hearing her reply. I felt like a complete person, and she completed my world.
As I stared into her pacific blue eyes, with the moonlight accenting her exquisite features, I let my instincts take over. Leaning closer, I closed my eyes and felt her lips spread warmth over mine. Our feelings of longing and love melted into one. When we broke for air, I breathed against her ear, "I always thought that we were friends, but deep down, I knew...you're mine, Kasumi Dreyer. I love you."
"I can't wait for Saturday..." She beamed at me, her eyes sparkling like the crystal clear waters of Akane beach.
Her smile...her eyes...her hair...she's perfect...she's my rainbow...my one and only queen.

Back at the guild, Minerva was smiling at me when I pushed open the doors.
Wait. Minerva's SMILING?! WHEN DID THAT EVER HAPPEN?!
"What's wrong?" I asked Minerva warily. Not talking, she pointed to the table where a celestial wizard and a shadow dragon sat...holding hands.
"My OTP happened!!!!" Our now crazy Minerva squealed.
Who knew that she had a fun side. I snickered.
Casting another glance at Rogue and Yukino, I grinned at Rogue, who was probably burning a million shades darker than Erza's hair by just holding his crush's hand.
I guess it's starting to get better in our relationship statuses, for both me and Rogue.
Entering my office, I hung up the 'Do Not Disturb' sign before I plopped down on the leather sofa for visitors. Reaching below the sofa, I pulled out a small safe. Unlocking it, I picked up a maroon velvet box. Running my fingers over the furry surface, I flicked the lid open. Almost gingerly, I picked up my other crystal earring. I had never told anyone why I only wore one, also because Weisslogia told me only to explain the reason to the one.
"Look, Sting." Weisslogia spoke to me sternly. That day, I was fourteen, the day the Fairy Tail Tenrou group disappeared. Turning my attention to my father, I cocked my head at the white dragon quizzically. "Take this, it's forged from white crystal, and infused with my magic." He said, showing me a maroon coloured velvet box resting in his palms. It seemed infinitely small in his great paws, but were just right in my small hands. Opening the cover, I saw a pair of yellowish-white crystal earrings. "One belongs to you. The other represents your significant other in the future. Your queen. Once you decide on the one, giving her this would mean that she is your other half, the one that completes your life, your world. You might not understand this now, but you will know what I mean in the future."
"Now I understand, Weisslogia, thank you..." I smiled at the memory, picking up the other earring fondly. Under that antique box, I saw the card she gave me for Christmas...
"Coming!" I yelled to Rogue and Yukino, who were waiting downstairs. Quickly jumping down the steps, I flashed an apologetic grin at them. "Fashionably late, as always." Rogue mumbled. "Sting-kun, when did you ever try to dress up before? I have the feeling that you have someone to impress..." Lector eyed me suspiciously while Rogue and Yukino stared like they've just witnessed a miracle. "I can't believe it! You put effort into doing something for once..." Rogue looked at me, shell-shocked. "Okay, Okay, can we go yet? Ka--ahem...nothing" I quickly covered up for the slip of my mouth with a cough. Shooting to the door, I stepped out into the pedestrian pavement before they could spot that something was amiss. Finally, we reached the street festival. While the others looked around for where to start, I sniffed the air for her scent. Suddenly, a bright rainbow invaded my sight. A smile immediately appeared on my face when I saw her. She was wearing a baby blue turtleneck knitted sweater, black leggings and khaki coloured knee-high suede leather boots with two buckle embellishments. A cat-eared muffler protected her ears from the cold.
She's beautiful...that thought suddenly popped into my mind, making me think that I was crazy. We were just friends, no way I would fall for a Fairy girl!
"What's on your mind?" She laughed, poking my cheek. Tensing up a little, I looked at her beaming at me. The sight at her seemed to just make me relax. Shaking my head, I grinned back at her.
All that can wait. I just want to spend time with her now...

"The light up is going to happen soon! Hurry up!" She screamed at me through the deafening racket, nimbly weaving through the thick wall of people while dragging me behind her. Finally, we got to the huge fig tree, all made up with unlit decorations.
"5...4...3...2...1...Merry Christmas!!!!" Everyone cried when the clock struck twelve on the 24th of December.
The gigantic fig tree in the middle of the plaza lit up with numerous fairy lights, brightening
Soon, the people started to disperse, while she stubbornly refused to leave.
"Just a while more..." She whined. Smirking, I looked at her. Her face was slightly flushed red, but I couldn't tell whether she was blushing or if it was the cold.
Once the last of the people left, she whispered to me, "Go check under the tree...maybe someone left a present?"
Looking at her quizzically, I obeyed and walked over to the stump of the bright tree.
Suddenly, a flash of rainbow caught my eye. When the light dimmed, I spotted a small blue box with a card attached. Slowly pulling the ribbon, I saw the most beautiful snow globe ever. Sparkling with a thousand hued glow, A small white dragon was holding a heart while being surrounded by glitter. I spun around in amazement, but she merely grinned at me.
Weisslogia...
"I'm not the rainbow dragon for nothing, you'll get it one day." She snickered at me.
"Oh, and only read the card next year!" She grinned before turning her back to me, waving her hand in an unsaid farewell.
《Sting, I just found out that I have feelings for you.
Love,
Kasumi》
Third Person POV
That night, she picked up a ancient wooden jewellery box. Opening it, she ran her slender fingers along the surface of the white Stellanium necklace, the cold stone tingling her fingertips. "Now you'll belong to Sting, and my destiny shall be intertwined with his...just like what Spherenial told me about you." She smiled, a calming, intoxicating feeling of light spreading warmth through her heart. His light.
White Stellanium was known as an extremely rare and valuable charm. It was thought to have magical properties, able to show two people the love they feel for each other. She had gotten this jewel as a reward for a S-class job she did with Laxus. He had taken the money while she wanted the necklace. She had kept it for eight years now, waiting for a star to fall.
Her star.
Her King.
The light in her darkness.
