EMMAS POV
Mom and Owen were on a date right now, and I was home with my siblings and my grandma. I had so much homework tonight. I was sitting in the kitchen and my grandma was reading a magazine. Of course, I was stuck on another math problem.
"Grandma?" I said.
"Yeah?" She said.
"Are you good at math?" I asked.
"Sorta," she shrugged, "you got your mother's genes."
"Yeah," I chuckled, "Owen usually helps me."
"So do you like Owen?" She asked.
"I mean yeah," I said, "Mom seems pretty happy so."
"That doesn't answer how you feel," she said.
"Did my mom put you up to this," I chuckled.
"No I'm curious," she chuckled.
"Yeah he's nice," I said.
"Yeah," she said.
"Do you think my mom will eventually tell Joey and Izzy where my dad is?" I asked.
"She wants to," She said.
"Then why doesn't she?" I said.
"Because they're little," she said, "they might not understand."
"Izzy asked me why we don't see him anymore," I said.
"What's you say?" She asked.
"I said it's cause we live far away," I said.
"Well that was a good answer," she said.
"Yeah," I shrugged.
"It'll all turn out alright," she said and hugged me.
"Yeah," I said.
AMELIAS POV
Owen and I were walking out of the theater hand and hand. It was dark out and he pulled me closer to him as we walked to his car which was cute.
"Hey Owen?" I said.
"Yeah?" He said.
"Do you want to spend the night?" I asked, hoping he would say yes.
"Yes," he smiled, "Can we stop at my place first?"
"Yeah sure," I said.
"Okay," he said. He put his arm around me as we made it to his car and started to drive over to his house. We pulled into his driveway and we walked inside his house and he said he just had to grab something.
"Owen can I make coffee?" I chuckled as he started to walk upstairs.
"Yeah sure," he said. I walked into his kitchen and started making coffee. After a few minutes I felt arms wrap around my waist.
"Hey cutie," Owen said.
"Hi," I smiled. He nuzzled into my neck and I put my hand on top of his.
"Did you like the movie?" He asked.
"I did did you?" I asked.
"Yeah," he said.
"I'm tired," I chuckled.
"Me too," Owen said.
"You want coffee?" I asked.
"Sure," he shrugged.
"Alright," I said and made two cups. We walked over to his kitchen table and he sat down next to me. I pulled my hair into a bun and he smiled at me.
"You have a nice smile," I said.
"Do I?" He chuckled.
"Yeah," I said, "kinda cute."
"Yeah well So is yours," he said, "you know, kinda cute."
"And you," I chuckled, "you're kinda cute."
