AMELIAS POV
Owen was at work and Emma was making lunch with Joey in the kitchen. I got up to grab my phone and I felt my little baby boy start kicking a little. I put my hand on my stomach and smiled down, I couldn't wait for him to be here. I grabbed my phone and a magazine and as I went to sit back down I felt water trickle down my leg and I knew my water broke.
"Oh my god," I said. Emma turned around.
"What? What happened?" She said.
"My water broke," I said.
"Oh my god," She smiled, "I'll call Owen." I started to feel a contraction coming and I grabbed the side of the counter as she grabbed my phone to call Owen.
"Do you need anything?" She asked.
"Just call Owen," I said, and the contraction started.
"Do you want to squeeze my hand?" Emma offered.
"Thanks," I said and grabbed her hand as the contraction passed.
"Joey why don't you go get Izzy because we have to go to the hospital," Emma said.
"Okay," Joey said and ran upstairs.
"Oh my god pick up," Emma said and looked at the phone.
"Try Meredith," I said in pain.
"Okay," She said. The phone rang and I heard Meredith pick up.
"Hey do you know where Owen is," Emma asked.
"He's in surgery?" Emma said, so that I'd know what was going on, "ok well my mom is going into labor."
"Oh my god," I heard Meredith say through the phone, "I'll get kepner and I'll pick u guys up to meet Owen there Okay?"
"Okay," Emma said, "thanks." She hung up and looked at me.
"He's in surgery so she's gonna come get up and April is gonna get Owen out of surgery okay?" She said.
"Okay," I said, "thanks."
"Of course," she smiled. I felt a stronger contraction coming and Emma saw it. I grabbed her hand and we heard Meredith pull up. She ran inside and helped me into the car along with the kids.
"Thank you," I said.
"Of course," she said, "anything for you and my new little nephew."
"Is Owen out of surgery?" I asked.
"Yeah I sent kepner," she said. Meredith got us to the hospital and we met Owen there.
"It's happening," he smiled.
"Yeah," I smiled. Another contraction hit and I grabbed his arm.
"Okay it's okay," he said and kissed my head.
"God this one hurts," I said.
"Hey breathe okay?" He said and kissed my head again. We got up to the room and I was so excited to meet my little boy.

3 hours later
I was only 4 centimeters dilated. I was squatting on the side of the bed squeezing Owens hands across from me.
"This is gonna take forever," I chuckled.
"It's okay," he chuckled.
"Easy for you to say," I said.
"You're right," he said.
"A baby is not coming out of your vagina this hurts," I chuckled.
"I love you," he said.
"I love you too," I said. I started to feel another contraction starting. They were getting much stronger now. Owen saw it too and walked around the bed and grabbed my hands again.
"Oh god," I said as it got strong.
"Okay just breathe," Owen said as he brought me into his arms and I held onto him through the pain. The pain was starting to get unbearable and and I squeezed his hand tighter.
"Owen make it stop please," I begged as I was in his arms.
"Amelia it'll be over soon I promise," he said, and I knew he couldn't do anything about it. The contraction passed and I let go of my grip on him.
"I forgot how much this hurts," I chuckled.
"Hey I'm here," he said.
"Soon we'll have our little boy," I smiled.
"We will," he said. Arizona came in and smiled.
"You should be around 5 centimeters now can I check?" She asked.
"Yeah of course," I smiled and Owen helped me onto the bed.
"Yup you're just hitting 5 centimeters," Arizona smiled, "within the next hour you should be hitting 6 and can get an epidural soon."
"Okay perfect," I smiled.
"I'll be back in around an hour," she smiled.
OWENS POV
It hurt me to see Amelia in so much pain. I knew the contractions were so painful and there was nothing I could do but be there for her. We were talking about our little boy who would be here soon when another contraction hit her.
"Oh my god," Amelia said in pain and she reached for my hand. I grabbed her hand and she leaned into me.
"Breathe okay?" I said comforting her and I kissed her head. I felt her breathing pick up to normal and her grip loosened.
"They hurts so bad," she complained, and I hated to see her in so much pain.
"I wish there was something I could do," I said.
"You being here is enough," she said. I kissed her lips and she smiled.
"I love you," I said.
"I love you too," she giggled.
