OWENS POV
Asher was taken up to the nicu and Amelia was sleeping. I was so happy. Of course I love Emma, Joey, and Izzy with my whole heart, but I was now a father to my own kid. He looked a lot like me which was cute. I was in the cafeteria with the kids and they were so cute.
"Asher looks a lot like you," Emma smiled.
"Yeah," I chuckled.
"Owen when can we see Asher again?" Joey asked.
"When Dr.Robbins is done giving him a check up," I said.
"When will that be?" Izzy asked eagerly. Emma chuckled and pulled her into her lap.
"You have to let the doctors do their job," Emma chuckled. She was so good with Joey and Izzy.
"Exactly," I said.
"But soon?" Joey said.
"Yes soon," I chuckled. I felt my phone buzz and I looked down and it was a text from Amelia.
"Hey I'm awake come back," she sent. I smiled and replied with, "Okay."
"I miss you," she sent.
"I miss you too," I sent.
"So hurry up and come back lol" she sent.
"Hey guys your mom is awake if you want to go back," I said.
"Okay!" Izzy jumped up and ran down the hallway. I chuckled as Joey chased after her and Emma walked with me.
"This isn't a good time but I Uh, I broke up with Mike this morning," she said quietly.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"Yeah it's whatever," she shrugged, "I know you and my mom didn't like him anyway."
"Yes but you did," I said.
"That's before he started drinking," She said.
"Well," I said, "If you're happy with it, you made the right decision for yourself."
"Don't tell my mom she'll get all emotional I'll tell her later," she chuckled.
"Okay," I said.
"Promise?" She said.
"Promise," I said.
"Thank you for not breaking my moms heart," she said, "you're really good for her and I know she loves you and we all love you, so thank you for being there for her through everything." I smiled and hugged her.
"I love you emma," I said.
"I love you too Owen," She said.
