OWENS POV
I'm so excited to be marrying Amelia. She's the love of my life. I was walking out of work and I was gonna stop at her favorite place on the way to her house to get her some coffee. I pulled through the drive through and texted her that I'd be home in a few minutes. I got both our coffees and started driving to her house. I pulled into the driveway and got out and rang the doorbell. Her mom answered the door and I knew something was up.
"You need to talk to Amelia," She said.
"Is everything okay?" I asked.
"Yes," She said, "just go talk to her." I walked upstairs and opened her bedroom door and she was pacing around. I set the coffee down on her end table and she turned around.
"Hey what's wrong?" I said
"I'm pregnant," she said.
"Oh my god? You're pregnant?" I smiled.
"Yeah," she smiled.
"This is amazing," I smiled and hugged her.
"I was scared to tell you," she chuckled, "I don't know why."
"You never have to be scared to tell me anything," I said.
"I'm happy," she smiled.
"Me too," I said.
"You get to be a dad," she smiled, "we get to be parents together."
"We do," I smiled. I kissed her and she wrapped her arms around my neck.
"When did you find out?" I asked.
"Last week," she said, "I was really nervous to tell you and then we got engaged and everything was moving so quickly and I got scared but you make everything okay." I smiled and kissed her forehead.
"Don't be overwhelmed," I said, "everything will be okay, and I'm here for every step of the way."
"I love you," she smiled.
"I love you too," I smiled.
"I wanted to wait for you to tell the kids," she smiled.
"Okay," I said. I was so happy.
"I'm an idiot for thinking you would be mad," she chuckled.
"You're right," I chuckled, "I'm so happy."
"Me too," she smiled. I had her in my arms and I hugged her.
"Thank you," I said, "for making me a dad." She pulled back and smiled at me.
"You're so cute," She giggled and kissed me.
