AMELIAS POV
It was pretty late but Emma and I were still up. I could tell she was thinking about something.
"Hey mom?" She said.
"Yeah?" I said.
"I'm sorry for all the arguing before," she said.
"Oh it's okay," I shrugged.
"I feel bad," she said.
"Well I'm glad you do but it's okay Emma," I said.
"So where does Joey and Izzy think we are?" She chuckled.
"Uh a work thing," I chuckled.
"Oh nice one," she said.
"It was the first thing I thought of," I chuckled.
"Oh," she chuckled.
"So how's Mike?" I asked.
"He's good," she said, "I know you don't like him."
"You're right," I said.
"Well when are we going back?" She asked.
"Tomorrow morning," I said.
"I know you really don't like him but can I hang out with Mike tomorrow?" She asked.
"Yeah where?" I asked.
"I don't know," she shrugged.
"Okay," I said, "please be safe."
"Yes I've learned my lesson," she said. My phone rang and I looked over and it was Owen. I smiled and picked up my phone.
"Hey honey," I smiled.
"Hey uh where's Ashers stuffed bear?" He said and I could hear Asher crying in the background. I frowned and looked at Emma.
"Check the laundry room," I said.
"Okay thank you," he said.
"You hanging in there?" I said.
"Yeah," he said, "he really misses you, and I miss you too."
"Well I miss you too," I said.
"Okay I found it," he chuckled and I heard Asher stop crying.
"My poor baby," I said.
"He's a mommas boy," Owen chuckled.
"Aren't they all," I joked.
"Shut up," he said.
"I love you," I said.
"I love you too," he said.
"I miss you," I said.
"I miss you too," he said, "so how's it going with Emma."
"Good," I said.
"You okay now?" He asked, because I was crying before about Spencer.
"Yeah," I said, "I am." I heard Asher crying in the background and Owen said goodbye. I hung up and rolled over and Emma was on her phone.
"I'm gonna go to bed I'm tired," she said. I looked over at the clock and it was already 11.
"Okay me too," I said.
"Goodnight mom," she said.
"Good night I love you," I said.
"I love you too," she said.
