AMELIAS POV
Emma finally went in her room to fall asleep and I opened my bedroom door to see Owen sitting in bed cradling Asher in his arms. I smiled and closed the door softly behind me.
"I don't like him for her," I said quietly.
"Me either," Owen said.
"He has a bad influence on her," I said.
"I don't know," Owen said, "Yeah I know she did something stupid but I think she realized how stupid it was."
"You think?" I said.
"She seemed like it to me," Owen said, "she was really scared to tell you because she knew how disappointed you would be."
"She said that?" I asked.
"Yeah," Owen said.
"My poor baby," I frowned.
"Yeah," Owen said.
"I just know he's going to get her into trouble and I don't like it," I said.
"I know," Owen said.
"And I don't want to tell her who she can and can't date but I'm worried," I said.
"I know," Owen said, "me too."
"I just thought she'd make the right decisions," I frowned.
"I think she will now," Owen said, "I mean teenagers experiment with stuff and she knew it was bad and I know she feels guilty."
"I just don't want her experimenting other things," I said.
"I don't think she will," He said.
"But she's so sweet and I know she doesn't like to say no to people and he can clearly peer pressure her," I said worried.
"Maybe she'll just break up with him again," He shrugged.
"I hope so," I said, "I want her to be happy, but more importantly, Safe."
"Yeah," He said, "Come here." He had asher on his chest and put his arm around me.
"She's smart, sure she'll make a few mistakes, but I have confidence that she'll make better decisions," Owen said.
"Me too," I said and looked up at him. I smiled and kissed him softly.
"I love you," I said.
"I love you too," he said.
"Was he crying?" I asked and looked down at Asher.
"No," Owen said, "he was awake though when I came up here."
"I hope he sleeps through the night," I said.
"Yeah me too," Owen said.
