OWENS POV
Today was our first day home with Asher. Izzy and Joey were away at their summer camp for the day and Emma was home doing some summer work. Amelia was in the kitchen with Asher. I walked in and she was so cute.
"Hi baby," she said cutely to Asher. She turned and saw me and smiled.
"Hey you," I said.
"Hey you," She smiled. She smiled down at Asher. He started crying and Amelia frowned.
"Don't cry baby," She said and cradled him. She frowned at me as he kept crying.
"You want to go see daddy?" She said and looked at me. I chuckled and took him from her and he stopped crying.
"Of course," she chuckled. I was holding him in my arms and I kissed his little head. He was all snuggled up and he was adorable.
"Awe," Amelia smiled and took a picture. Emma walked into the kitchen and frowned.
"Owen I'm bad at math," she said.
"Emma we knew that," Amelia joked.
"Mom shut up," she chuckled. Amelia took Asher from my arms and kissed his cheek. I sat down with Emma and helped her with her summer work while Amelia went into the other room with Asher.
AMELIAS POV
Asher is adorable. He's cried a lot lately though in the hospital. Tonight is our first night with him. I walked into the living room with him and laid down on the couch and he was snuggled on my chest. I rubbed his back softly and turned the tv on. I kissed his head and he looked at me with his little eyes. He was so perfect. All of a sudden he started crying and I frowned. I sat up and patted his back and rocked back and forth with him until he stopped crying and calmed down.
"That's good," I smiled, "don't cry baby." He snuggled into me and I wrapped my arms around him and smiled. He started to fall asleep and I smiled at how precious he was. I laid back down on the couch and watched TV with him in my arms.
OWENS POV
I walked out of the kitchen and Amelia was holding Asher watching tv. They were so cute. When she saw me she smiled and held her finger to her lip so I wouldn't wake Asher. I nodded and sat down next to her.
"He finally fell asleep," she chuckled softly.
"Yeah," I said. I put my arm around her and she leaned into me. I kissed her head and we both just watched Asher peacefully sleep for a while.
