OWENS POV
It's been a few weeks and Amelia and Emma have fought constantly over seeing Spencer, but today Amelia was finally taking her. I was laying awake in bed and Amelia was snuggled up next to me. I smiled over at her and I was gonna miss her for the day she was going to be gone. Her and Emma were flying to LA today and seeing Spencer and spending the night and would fly back tomorrow morning. I was gonna stay home with Asher, Joey, and Izzy because Joey and Izzy were way too young for the prison. Amelia rolled over and I knew she was awake.
"Well today's the day," she said softly, and she was clearly still half asleep. I chuckled and kissed her cheek and she smiled.
"I love you," She said.
"I love you too," I said. She got up and showered and Asher started to cry. He's been crying a lot, and I don't know how's he's gonna do a whole day without Amelia. I picked him up and kissed his head and cradled him to try to get him to calm down. He wouldn't stop crying and I knew he wanted Amelia. I heard the shower water turn off and she came out wrapped in a towel.
"Does he want me," she chuckled.
"Yeah," I chuckled.
"I don't want to leave him," she pouted cutely,
"Do you think he'll be okay for the day?"
"I'm sure he'll be okay," I said.
"And will you be okay here with him by yourself," She joked.
"Yes," I chuckled. Asher stopped crying and she smiled at him.
"You're going to go back to daddy now," she chuckled and placed him back in my arms, "I didn't wash my hair." I chuckled and kissed her before she ran back into the bathroom. I was holding Asher and he was snuggled into me. He was so cute. Amelia came out of the bathroom ready and she smiled at us
"You guys are so cute," She smiled.
"No you're so cute," I said. She smiled and came over to me and I gave Asher to her so I could get dressed. She got dressed and pulled her hair into a bun.
"I really don't want to do this," she said.
"I know," I said. She sighed and grabbed her bag and I kissed her forehead.
"Call me when you land okay?" I said.
"Yes of course," she said.
AMELIAS POV
I didn't want to go see Spencer today. It was taking everything in me not to blow up at Emma because I didn't want to do this. I walked down the hall and she opened her door and she was ready with her bag.
"You ready?" I said.
"Yeah," she said.
"Okay," I said. She walked downstairs and I poked my head in Joeys room and him and izzy were already up playing with Joey's legos.
"Hey guys," I said.
"Mommy are you leaving now?" Joey said, he was upset that I was leaving for the day.
"Yeah buddy but I promise I will be home tomorrow Okay?" I said and gave him a hug.
"Where are you going again?" Izzy asked.
"Emma and I are going on a trip," I paused not really sure what to say, "for my work it's a weird thing."
"Are you going to see dad?" Joey said.
"No," I said, "we are not."
"Okay," Joey said. I hugged them both and Joey snuggled into me.
"Okay guys please promise to be good for Owen okay?" I said, "you know Asher cries a lot and you need to be good so Owen can take care of Asher too."
"Yes we know," Joey said as he was hugging me. I kissed his head and I heard Asher crying in the other room.
"Mommy when are you going to be back?" Izzy asked.
"Tomorrow," I said. Owen came in and I grabbed Asher from him since he wouldn't stop crying. I was worried about leaving him. I said goodbye to Joey and Izzy again and walked down with Asher and Owen.
"If they ask emma and I are at a work thing," I chuckled.
"Ok," he chuckled. Asher stopped crying and I looked at the time and knew I had to go.
"Have a safe flight," Owen said and kissed my head.
"Thanks," I said.
"I love you," he said and kissed me softly.
"I love you too," I said after. I kissed Ashers head and gave him back to Owen and I didn't want to leave him and Owen saw it.
"Hey he's going to be okay," he said, "I'll be fine here with them okay?"
"Okay," I said.
"Hey just calm down it's ok," He said, "you'll be back tomorrow and it'll all be back to normal."
"Yeah," I said. He kissed me once more and then Emma and I walked out to the car. I put our bags in the back seat and the tension between us was really bad. We fought everyday for a week until I agreed to go see Spencer.
"Can we not fight the whole time?" Emma said.
"Who said I was fighting," I said.
"The 'Emma I'm going to kill you' look on your face," She said.
"You're the one starting an argument," I said.
"Okay sorry I said something," she shrugged. She slouched down in the seat and I knew it was going to be a long day.
