I awoke in the morning to billie trying to get out of bed. I quickly wrapped my arms around her waist and dragged her back to bed.

"Stay." I mumbled half asleep, burying my head between her neck and shoulder as she laid back down.

"We have to get up, we're going out." She said Laughing as she turned to face me.

I frowned. Going out? That didn't sound fun.. I wanted to stay in bed all day.

"Where? Why? I don't want too."

She took my hand in hers before replying

"You said you wanted to get better? Well we have to get out more then.. come on get up!" She said kissing my head before jumping out of bed before I could catch her.

Suddenly the duvet was ripped off of me and I was left freezing cold.

"BILLIE!!! It's fucking cold!!" I growled at her.

She simply stood smirking at me.

-

We walked for a while hand in hand till we finally arrived at billies chosen destination. The local town centre.

I dropped billies hand suddenly aware of the amount of eyes on us.

I noticed billie give me a concerned look but she didn't question me further then that.

"Where do you want to go..?" She asked, smiling at me

"I don't know.. I don't really shop much." I said

I couldn't remember the last time I'd ordered or gone out and got clothes for myself.. I was perfectly fine with the small selection I had.

"How about here?" She said dragging me into a smallish women's clothes store

The store was small and standard, but I was somewhat excited as I walked into a row of clothes and began to look threw them. I pulled out a black shirt with the words "real not perfect" with the word perfect written backwards.

"That's cute." Billie commented as she walked past me over to another row of clothes.

I put it back not wanting to go threw the embarrassment of trying it on and the potential of it not fitting.

As I placed it back I heard someone giggling, I looked over my shoulder to see two girls pointing and laughing at me.

I sighed before walking off to find Billie. I wasn't going to let two immature teens ruin my day.

"You ok?" She asked as I walked over.

"Yeh." I said avoiding eye contact and looking at the shirts. I could still hear the girls laughing as they walked around the store.

"Hey. What's going on?" Billie said as she grabbed my wrist to prevent me walking away.

"Nothing it's fine, I'm fine." I said still avoiding eye contact as I gently pulled my wrist away.

I glanced at billie and realised she was glaring down the girls from across the store.

"Billie, leave it, it's fine." I spoke sterner then I meant too.

The last thing I wanted was a fight in a store where everyone would be looking at us.

"There upsetting you,  it's not fine."

"There just being immature. Just ignore them.."

The girls walked past and I watched as Billie tensed up.

"Shouldn't you be shopping in the thrift store? It's more.. your budget." One of the girls spoke up as she passed me. She was a smaller girl, perfect body, perfect hair, perfect face.  She fit the boxes of perfection in every way. She's even wearing designer clothes. Shame money can't buy a decent personality.

"Have you got a fucking problem?" Billie spoke, shock and disgust lacing her voice.

The girl looked billie up and down before laughing and walking off. I noticed Billie go to follow her but I step in the way.

"Please, can we just go to another shop? Their not worth it.. let's just go somewhere else.." I beg, placing my hand on her chest. Not wanting her to do something she will regret.

"Ok.." She says as she drags her eyes away from the girls and fixes them on mine.

-

We end up in a expensive store, I lay eyes on a black jumper with random white words all over it. I turn over the price tag curious how much it is.

£215.. I quickly put it back.

"If you like it get it!" Billie encourages

"I can't afford that.. it's £215.."

I notice bullies eyes change, like a plan just boiled in her brain.

She quickly grabs the jumper and skips to the checkout.

"Billie what are you doing..??? I said I can't-"

"What sort of girlfriend am I if I didn't ever treat you to things?" She says pulling out her card.

I don't reply I just stand shocked as she swipes her card across the card reader effortlessly.

She turns to me and hold out the jumper for me to take.

"Billie.. you didn't have to-."

"I wanted too. Take it." She smiles

I take in my hands and realise this is most likely the most expensive clothing I'll ever own.

I slide it on and take in the softness.

"It looks cute on you." She says wrapping her arms around me and kissing me.

"Oh my god. Look! Billie eilish!" Someone calls out causing us to snap apart.

"Hey!" Billie smiles acting like we weren't just caught out.

I watch with red cheeks as she greats the fans and takes pictures with them as I stand awkwardly to the side.

Not long after we decide to go home.  I hate to admit it but for once I actually feel happy.

-

"Did you have fun today?" Billie says, setting down the guitar she was just playing.

"I did. Thank you." I smiled she pulled me into her arms

"Good, I love you."

"I love you too." I smiled at her. for the first time in a long time my smile was real. There was no faking everything I felt was real.
