'Get out.' He whispered dangerously. Draco Malfoy sneered at Lily and Albus Potter, staring at them fiercely with his grey eyes that used to remind Lily so much of Scorpius but in this moment Lily saw no resemblance whatsoever between Scorpius and his father. They were so different that Lily couldn't comprehend how she hadn't noticed it before. Where Scorpius had small dots of freckles on his nose his father had spotless skin. Where Scorpius had soft looking hands his father had calloused looking hands. Where Scorpius had soft grey eyes almost like melting silver his father had the most hardest grey eyes she had seen in her life, they were the complete opposite of Scorpius' eyes, they looked like brittle silver. Every soft surface Scorpius had, his father did not. Scorpius and Draco Malfoy were so different from one another that Lily was appalled with herself for not noticing earlier.

Draco Malfoy was harsh in the way that he looked at Lily and Albus, his eyebrow twitched up when Albus and Lily didn't move.

'Dad-' Scorpius started.

'Not another word from you. I will not have you associate yourself with the Potter's at all, especially not after what happened today!' Draco Malfoy yelled at his son.

'How did you know-' Scorpius' suspicion grew. No teacher had been there to report the fight.

'Not another word!' Draco Malfoy bellowed. He pointed at Albus and Lily. 'You two out. Now.' Lily shrunk back and Albus looked over at Scorpius. Scorpius nodded at him and Albus grabbed Lily's wrist, wrenching her out of the hospital wing as fast as he could muster. But before the door shut Lily glanced back to look at Scorpius, he was already looking at her as his father's cane rose above his head.

'Don't look back.' Albus whispered and turned Lily's head to look at him.

'Is he...?' Lily's voice shook. She knew the answer to her question before Albus said anything.

'Yes.' He whispered. Lily's heart throbbed. What was wrong with Draco Malfoy? Was this the reason Lily's father hated him so much? Because he was a cruel heartless man? Scorpius didn't deserve any of that! In fact he deserved love and comfort after what James had done to him. But how did Draco Malfoy even know about the fight? If no teacher had been there to report the fight to the Headmistress how did he know? Who was supplying him with that information? Lily's thoughts ran through the endless possibilities.

'Why don't we go back and help Scorpius?' Lily whispered while briskly walking next to her brother.

'Because he will kill us.' Albus replied.

'I'm not afraid of Draco Malfoy.' Lily said.

'Sh...' Albus hushed her looking around wildly for eavesdroppers, he found no one in the lonely hallway. 'I wasn't talking about that brute, I was talking about Scorpius.'

'Why would Scorpius kill us?'

'Because he doesn't want us to get involved in this, especially not you, Lily.' Albus looked over his shoulder at the hospital wing double doors that were just opening, he quickly grabbed Lily's wrist and dragged her behind another door to the side. A broom cupboard. Albus held his hand over Lily's lips to keep her from asking any more questions.

Fine. She'd ask Scorpius instead.

They listened to the sound of clicking coming from expensive shoes on concrete for a few seconds until it disappeared completely. Albus slowly opened the door to check if the coast was clear. He ushered Lily to come with him quietly. She followed suit and soon they were both back in the hospital wing staring at Scorpius' now freshly bruised face.

Draco Malfoy was going to pay for what he had done to his son, Lily promised herself.
