Peter always looked up to the Avengers. He always wanted to be one.

I don't know why but I feel conned

When he got to be a superhero, he thought it would be fun and stress free.

It was the opposite.

I wanna be an idle teen

He saw Tony Stark as his mentor.

I wish I hadn't been so clean

Even though he does so much, the news on the billboard reported that there were criminals walking free.

I wanna stay inside all day

He wanted to hide away from the cruel reality and stress.

I want the world to go away

At first, he used Spiderman as a stress reliever.

I want blood, guts, and chocolate cake

He enjoyed taking down thugs and the thanks' that he would get after saving someone.

I wanna be a real fake

People online call him fake. He wish he was fake.

He stared at the mask in his hands. He wishes that he hadn't made the voice to be Spiderman.

Wish I'd been a prom queen, fighting for the title

He looks at Tony whose on the podium. He wishes he could fight to be up there instead.

Instead of being sixteen and burning up a bible

He filled up an application slip that he didn't even know was for.

Feeling super, super, super suicidal

Venom, an escaped symbiote, sees him and wants to take over him.

The wasted years, the wasted youth

He thinks back to the years he wasted being Spiderman.

The pretty lies, the ugly truth

He was always smiling as if nothing was wrong but deep inside.

He was rotting.
