Tonight is the same night ZE played BR. Liam is on the football team so he had to play in the game. He is something called a quarterback, whatever that is. I know nothing of football. While they played, I stood outside the gym. This is where the dance is going to be. I would rather wait out here than inside. No one can bother me out here.
Shawn brought Sarah, a girl in my class, to the dance. He paid for all three of our tickets against my protest. He tried to get me to go inside but I refused. I know it upset Shawn that I wouldn't go in with him. He probably thought I would ditch Liam and hang out with him. I didn't. I waited for Liam. I wouldn't do that to Liam. I couldn't. It's not in my nature.
Shawn waited outside with me for awhile. He did most of the talking. I wasn't in the mood for conversation. Truth be told I'm still kind of angry at him. Shawn and I had never apologized to one another. We still aren't really talking in case you were wondering.
When the game was over, Liam came to the gym. He was sweaty and tired. I was just happy he was there. I had a good time with Liam. We danced, well I did. He just kind of held my hand while I danced.
The DJ played the cha cha slide, macarena, Soulja Boy and so much more. I'm not good at Crank Dat, but I sure as halibut tried. Liam stood against the wall and watched. He wasn't much of dancer, or so he said. We stayed until the school turned the lights on and made us all go home. It was a really good night all in all.

Monday. As if the word in itself doesn't irritate me, now I have something else to be upset with. Well not really upset, just annoyed. Today isn't going very well and it's not just because it is a Monday. Sarah won't leave me alone. She told me that Shawn wouldn't dance with her at the homecoming dance or speak to her. How is this my problem? Shawn is his own person. I can't make him speak to Sarah. I can't make his dance with her. To be frank, I really don't care what she has to say and I told her so.
She got really ticked off and turned around in her chair. I just laughed. How did she expect me to answer her? This is none of my concern. I don't even like Sarah. She's a snob. One of those girls that get upset if a boy has dirt under his nails.
I can't wait to go home. Emily will have a snack waiting on me. Her famous chocolate chip cookies or brownies and a nice cup of warm cinnamon apple tea. Then I can sit down and watch some of television or play the playstation 2 for awhile. Crash is calling my name.
