Seven years later...

She's standing on the edge of a familiar cliff. The harsh wind blowing her hair. Why is she here? Why..

"Cece.."

Her body froze at the voice. When she looked down she saw Chase holding on a rock for dear life.

"Chase..."

She quickly got down on her knees and reach down to him. Panic slowly filling her system.

"Hold my hand!" She croaked. "Please.. just hold my hand.."

He was about to reach up when a sinister voice stopped him.

"Do you think I'd let you?"

And then she saw the defeated look on his face. The look she dreaded to see over and over again.

"No! Don't listen to him!"

"I'm sorry..."

"No! Hold my hand!"

"I'm sorry.."

"No!!!!!"

Her eyes shot open. Her hands clucthing the sheets like it was Chase's hands she's clutching to. She took ragged breaths to calm herself. She tried to get up but couldn't. Why can't she get up?

She looked around her. White walls greeted her eyes.

Where is she?

She tried to get up again but only groaned when she instantly felt pain all over her body. She only slumped back on the bed when the pain she felt intensified. It's as if she'd been run over by a ten wheeler truck over and over again!

"Hell..." She groaned.

"I see you're awake."

She turned her head on the doorway. There, Cole stood. With him is a doctor.

"Cole.."

The doctor walked towards her bed.

"Good morning, Officer. It's good to have you back."

Back? What did she mean by that? She was asking herself when bits and pieces of memories started flashing in her mind that she tightly closed her eyes.

A memory of her, Mason, and Nick in a jungle flashed before her. Her eyes widened when she remembered them being ambushed, blindfolded and taken to their hideout. She didn't know how long they were there, but she definitely remember the torture they got from them. She licked her lips when her throat run dry at the memories.

"Do you remember anything?"

She looked around her. When her eyes saw the glass of water on her bedside table, she immediately grabbed it and drowned her throat with the refreshing liquid. When she was finished, she gently put the glass back on the table.

"Yes.."

"Can you tell us what are the exact details you remember from the day you were captured to the day you were rescued?"
