*mentions fainting*

It was an understatement to say that Andy's doubt hadn't broken Rye. He had never thought of their love as uncertain just because they were young. Rye had considered them to be incredulously lucky. He had felt that purpose was given to his life when Andy started to shine in a new light. The older boy was no longer just a guy he saw in the corridors and had one or two classes with a week. He became the man Rye wanted to hold and love for all eternity.Looks like that wasn't going to happen.
He never really grew used to the Andy shaped hole in his heart and soul. He tried to stay strong for himself and Andy, the blond had wanted confirmation that they weren't just two pieces of something more significant that bumped together. Andy had been insecure. This stung, not as much as losing him, but why? Hadn't Rye been enough?
He had thought about reaching out, even if they couldn't be together, maybe they could still be in each other's lives? Rye was torn between wanting Andy in his life even if it was only just as friends and not knowing if he could be close to the boy without breaking even further. Like in any situation where you're unsure of what to do, Ryan did nothing.
He hated that he didn't fight. Nonetheless, he would never want to force Andy to do anything. To feel obligated to commit and love. No. He would never, he could never. The younger only wanted him to be happy, and if that was alone or with someone else, that was the way it should be. If it tore him apart, that would be his fight. He could only hope Andy was dealing with this in a better manner than he was.
Of course, Andy wasn't any better. He had tried to find the world, only to find he had left his behind.
God, he wanted happiness back. Sure, he had laughs with his friends but not that longterm warm feeling was gone. Along with Rye. He was not there to wake up to, Rye's arms weren't there to hold him when he couldn't fall asleep and when he was crying over Rye, Rye was gone; pushed away by Andy. Andy, who spiralled down, blaming no one but himself.
Andy should have fallen a long time ago, but he was so busy pleasing others and making sure he seemed fine. Because he thought that he had made his bed and the blond would now have to lay in it. So when he finally broke was almost a year after they broke up.
Andy had started to feel faint during work, think very little of this he kept on working. He shouldn't have. The blond knew it. He only caused more problems for everyone. He had collapsed in the staircase and fallen down the last couple of steps. Andy had no idea where he was going. It hadn't mattered everything had started to blur and it had been impossible for him to identify his surroundings.
When he lay there, he heard his coworkers panicking around him. The two types of people were very obvious in this situation; the ones who froze, scared to do something wrong; and the ones who acted immediately. The latter group was much more helpful, not that Andy had the right to be picky. An ambulance was on site within minutes of this sudden collapse.
While they were making sure, he was okay enough to move to the hospital - which thankfully was only about ten minutes away - one of his coworkers had taken it upon themselves to call all of his ICE contacts. The list was quite short his mother, Brook, Mikey, and Rye. His mother lived approximately three hours away, and his friends were out of the country promoting music. So the only one who made it to the hospital before he was to be released was a worried Rye.
He answered the call, he had been stunned to see the name pop up his screen. He would have thought the other boy wouldn't have his number anymore. He was wrong.
Upon hearing what had happened he rushed from the studio, telling Blair that Andy was in trouble. Blair barely had time to react before Rye was in his car driving to the hospital.
The person he spoke to on the phone said he was the only ICE contact who had answered, they had also said that Andy had fallen down the stairs and that they didn't know how he was. If Rye could get any more worried, he did. So without thinking, the singer had rushed to the large building that had the aura of extreme cleanliness and pain. He hated the thought of Andy lying there alone.
Rye didn't know if Andy was with someone else. If that were the case, he would leave after he made sure he was okay, just to calm himself down.
The brunet was quickly directed to the room where Andy was. Taking a deep breath before entering. Next to his former lover sat a man checking his blood pressure, efficiently he moved to take a blood sample fro the blonds finger.
Rye stood in the doorway waiting to be invited in, if andy wanted him to leave he would, preferably without making him too uncomfortable. However, Andy hadn't seemed to notice Rye yet. Probably still out of it. Their eyes met for the first time for what seemed like an eternity. Worried brown looked into slightly hazy blue.
