EDITED - Zach
Haylie pov
After Daniel and I finished the average tasting pancakes, we agreed to spend the day together before he had a race tonight. I was hesitant at first when he invited me, but when he offered to let Megan and Scarlett come I couldn't say no. So, I was heading back to his bedroom to grab my phone when I realised the door was locked.
I was the last to leave his bedroom and I definitely didn't lock it. So I tugged it again but it didn't budge. "What are you doing?" I turned round to see Daniel rushing down the hallway.
"Why is your bedroom locked?' I frowned when he put himself between me and the door.
"there's my bedroom." He stated, giving me a gentle push to the other door. He immediately looked apologetic as he sighed. "Sorry.
I shook my head. "What's behind that one?" I asked but he only shook his head again.
"It's..." He trailed off, looking the door up and down as if it would give him the explanation. "It's personal." He landed on.
I frowned suddenly examining the door that looked just like the others. "How can a room be personal?" I asked folding my arms then wondering if it was just a cupboard instead of a room. "What is it?"
"Like I said, it's personal." He moved forward, placing his hands over my folded forearms. "Trust me okay."
I couldn't exactly say no to that one. So, slowly I nodded and moved back to the other door he had pushed me towards. I walked back into his bedroom, the light grey sheets all crumpled on the bed, memories of last night flushing my cheeks. My hand reached for my phone on the dresser but before I could even touch it, I was pulled away.
Daniel gripped me by the waist and lifted me up with no effort before throwing me down on the bed. All memories of the door vanished as I looked to his impossibly handsome face. "Stay with me again tonight." He ordered, his lips against mine. "I don't want to spend another minute wondering when I'll get to taste you like I did last night."
I moaned when he wasted no time with his hands roaming every inch of my body. "We have time." I whispered as I looked to the digital clock on his nightstand. He looked up from my chest for only a second before he grinned and planted a kiss just as ferocious as last night to my lips.
"So, then what happened?" Megan grinned as we stood a little away from the guys at the railing of the racetrack.
"I think you know what happened." I replied with a roll of my eyes.
Scarlett and Megan both looked to each other with an excitement I was trying to hide. Even after last night, and this morning, I didn't want to lose any form of maturity by giggling like school girls. Scarlett looked over my shoulder where the guys laughed loudly. "And you're going to lunch with his family tomorrow? Jesus. It's like a real relationship."
My head dropped to the side, both insulted and confused. "It is a real relationship." I defended only making her laugh more.
"I know. I just mean, for you. You've only ever dated one person and he never even met your family. And his didn't even know about you." It didn't sting for the first time. And I smiled at it. "Does it not freak you out, how quick it's moving?"
I shook my head without hesitation. "No. It doesn't feel quick. It feels right. It feels normal and natural and..." I trailed off, there was no words to describe the feelings that Daniel made me feel.
"You didn't say it back though." Megan stated with a swig of her beer. "This morning, he told you he loved you. You didn't say it back."
I sighed, I knew I hadn't. But it was just because I was in shock. "He's going to be taking me home tonight. I want to tell him then. In private, so he doesn't feel like I'm saying it just because he is."
