EDITED - Daniel

Zach handed me a beer as I jumped up on the kitchen counter next to Megan. "So, you girls are going back to school in September?" He asked, leaning against the counter opposite, his hand falling into the pocket of his jeans.

"Yep. Final year which means Uni applications will be pending." Megan sighed.

Ben nodded, shutting the oven with the microwave pizzas inside. "What are you guys taking?"

"Music, Maths, English lit and biology." I said and they winced at biology then looked to Megan.

"I'm taking, music, history, general studies and double business." She said proudly.

Jamie joined the conversation, jumping up on the counter next to Megan. "Musical girls aye? Daniel has the voice of an angel." Ben groaned and Zach hit Jamie over the head.

"Stop being gay or you can sleep on the beach." Zach said bringing his beer to his lips again before departing the kitchen.

Megan laughed then let her face drop. "Are you gay?"

Jamie only smirked in response. "I think you out of all people, know I'm not." His voice dropped to a husky whisper as a blush rose on her cheeks and her eyes avoided mine.

"Oh my god!" I screamed and jumped of the counter. "You two hooked up?"

Jamie laughed and Megan just shot daggers at his cheeky smile. "Whatever it was just one time." Megan defended trying to play it off.

"Yeah she was drunk and I definitely took advantage." He teased making me and Megan hit him. "Everybody needs to stop hitting me!" He said and jumped down himself before leaving as Zach had done.

"I can't believe you didn't tell me." I said, reaching out to slap her arm again but she swatted me away.

The redness had started to dip in her cheeks as she swung her legs like a child. "It didn't mean anything; we made that clear to each other the next morning." Before even letting me question anymore she jumped down and left as well.

"Swear to god!" Megan laughed. Nobody believed her story of when we and a few other friends went camping.

Sadly, for me it was true. "That was so embarrassing! You guys are dicks."

I groaned while they all continued to laugh. "I think the more concerning thing is that Matt actually went and bought you some." Scarlett laughed and I hid my face in my hands.

"Who's Matt?" Daniel asked and this time even I laughed at the seriousness in his face.

"He's one of our friends back home. He actually drove all the way to the shop at 3am just to get Haylie some tampons." Megan laughed. "Bless him." I went even more red at the word tampon and buried my head in Daniels chest.

"Okay enough with this story!" I groaned. "I will bring up the story of the stairs Meg's don't think I won't." Her and Scarlett instantly froze making the boys stop laughing.

"What's the story about the stairs?" Jamie asked with a smile.

Megan quickly shook her head. "Haylie. That is too far." Megan said and even with the serious look in her eyes I smirked. Obviously, I wasn't going to tell the story but the threat would make her stop.

"Yeah come on, we don't talk about it." Scarlett defended. I laughed loudly.

"We also don't talk about that camping trip!" Megan started to smile, obviously realising I wouldn't tell.

Ben slammed his beer down. "You have to tell us now, come on!"

The three of us shared a look before shaking our heads. "Nope. Girl code." Scarlett said gulping her beer.
