"Woooo! GO MEGAN!" Haylie yelled making me laugh.

Megan raised her middle finger at us before climbing into the driver's seat and Jamie smirked before getting in the passenger.

Haylie, Zach, Ben, and I were stood at the railing of the derby ring. It was now 11:20 and the last derby had just finished. So, Dwane gave us one of the cars while he escaped with Scarlett.

"I've never been in the car with Megan, is she as reckless a driver as I think she is?" Ben asked as he looked down to Haylie.

"Let's just say she can get from A to B." She said folding her arms and leaning her back against my chest, obviously code for wrap your arms around me.

I folded my arms on top of her folded ones and rested my chin on her head. "Guess we're about to find out." I mumbled as the car started. She was actually really good, but I could faintly hear Jamie telling her what to do on the corners. "Do you want to try?" I asked her but she shook her head.

"I haven't had a single driving lesson. We would be here for hours."

I shrugged. "I could teach you?" I offered and she scoffed.

"Then definitely no."

Zach and Ben chuckled but I glared to shut them up. "What do you mean by that?" I asked confused.

"Just that you would get kind of scary teaching me how to drive." She said nervously. I tried to pull my arms away from her but she held them tightly to her chest. "Because you would get frustrated with me!" She protested quickly.

"I promise I won't get frustrated." I said with a chuckle and after a few minutes of begging she agreed.

20 minutes later

"Haylie come back!" I yelled when she got out the car and power walked to the group of our laughing friends. "I'm sorry I yelled baby!" I ran after her.

She turned back towards me folding her arms across her chest. "You said you wouldn't get frustrated."

"I know I did. I'm sorry please let's get back in the car and try again?"

She shook her head. "No chance. You yelling at me makes me nervous and it makes me mess up!" She said and Ben scoffed.

"Was he yelling the minute you got in the car?" I bit my lip to hold in my laugh while Haylie spun around to glare.

"I won't yell I promise." I asked her again but she just sighed.

Before she could answer Zach stepped in. "I think it's obvious Haylie is a terrible driver and we don't have all night to try and convince her otherwise." He said swinging an arm around my shoulders. "Scarlett and Dwane are already at the party." He said pulling me away from the railing as the others followed behind us. "I'm going to go back to the cabin and get a crate of beer." He said and I turned my head to see Haylie talking with Ben and Scarlett, an idea hit me.

"Take Haylie with you." I said and Zach scoffed. "Come on, spend some one-on-one time with her, you'll see how great she is."

Zach removed his arm and placed both hands in his pockets. "I've already spent time with her. All we do is argue." He stated making me nod in agreement.

"Maybe try actually being nice to her then?" I smirked and he shrugged.

"Thanks for the offer bro but I'm good." He said sarcastically and started to walk away. "I'll meet you there."

I sighed and turned round just in time to wrap my arm around Haylie's shoulder as she went to pass me. "I'm sorry for yelling." I whispered in her ear and she smiled at me.
