EDITED

I had spoken to Megan and Scarlett. Almost as soon as I woke up that morning, I sent a text in our group chat 'Threesome'. So instead of heading straight to school, we went to Starbucks and talked it through.

In hindsight, they would have taken my side no matter what. But still, hearing that they would feel the same put my mind at ease. However, they also told me I did it to myself and some things are better off not knowing. They told me I definitely shouldn't ask for anymore details. They told me not to start an argument with him or even let him know I was really upset. But maybe we should have a conversation about trust.

Because they were right. I had just blindly given him my trust and the fact he could sleep with someone only three days after I left. Red flag.

So, now we jumped out of Megan's car in his flats carpark, and I forced on a brave face. I hadn't really seen Daniel all day. A few smiles in the hallway, a couple of texts but now, as he stood before me at the door, I realised even today I had missed him. His grin told me the same.

He wore blue jeans and a light grey t-shirt. His hair appeared to still be styled from school but I could definitely smell additional aftershave had been applied. "Is that for tonight?" He asked pointing down to the overnight bag in my hands. I nodded and let him take it from me, and pull me inside the apartment with his other hand.

"Hello, we're here too?" Megan scoffed but Daniel only gave her a wink over his shoulder as he continued pulling me down the hallway on the left. I laughed just as I heard the sound of Megan and Scarlett reuniting with the boys.

"Remember you have guests!" Jamie's voice sounded through the apartment as Daniel opened a dark wooden door and pulled me in. I barely had time to even take in the room before he dropped my bag and pushed me against the wall.

His lips were rushed on mine and his hands didn't know where to land as he gripped my neck, cupped my face, and ran down my waist. "I missed you today." He mumbled against my lips but then continued kissing them. Despite my inner feelings, I still wrapped my arms around his neck and fell into the kiss. "I can send them all home now if you want?" He suggested pushing himself further into me against the wall.

I laughed and decided to break away first. While he didn't appear happy about it, he still pushed himself slightly off the wall, only enough to rest his hands either side of my head to keep me in his cage. "Did you have a good day?" I asked, not being able to resist touching him as I ran my hands from his shoulders down his chest.

"No." he said quickly. His face serious. "I've wanted to talk to you all day about last night."

I quickly shook my head and wrapped my hands around his neck again. "We can talk about it later. Really, lets go out there." He didn't budge, his blue eyes just stared at me, as if he were trying to read my mind. "Daniel, the only thing you need to focus on tonight is figuring out a way to make sure I don't loose again."

Finally he cracked the smallest of smiles and pushed himself off the wall. I was surprised when his hands gently fell on my waist, and he pulled me into his chest. I hugged him back, enjoying the moment more than any other. "I can't help you. Your poker skills are unfixable."

I laughed into his shoulder and found my arms tightening around his neck as his tightened round my waist, pulling me up onto my tiptoes. "Please." I whispered into his ear and he let me go. "Please." I asked again looking up at him through my lashes.

His lips fell into a grin as he shook his head. "You are evil you know that?" He said and opened the door again letting me slip under his arm back out to the hallway.

"Why?"

"Because you know I would do anything for you." He mumbled as he wrapped his arms around my chest, pressing another kiss to my head just as we turned the corner back into the main room. He pulled his arms off me but took my hand.
