Facing My Fears

((continued from where the last chapter ended))

Jack's POV

It was almost 5pm , me and hanna spent the whole day at my house , watching movies, listening to music , cuddling and pretty much just hanging out. Whenever I'm with hanna I never get bored, I don't feel the urge to smoke or drink, nothing matters , but her.

Currently , I was sitting on my bed I had my laptop open infront of me but I was sitting here looking at Hanna who was laying on the floor, flat on her stomach ; her legs moving in the air as she tried to focus on whatever she was working on in front of her , she had a pen in her hand and she was flicking it around in the air , she looked so cute wearing even some pj shorts and one of my t shirts.

"damn you look hot in my clothes" I said smirking ; "I look good in anything gilinsky" she winked and laughed. I was so happy to see her talk this way, she was gaining self confidence I mean look at her she had no flaws.

"babe i was thinking you should .. ehh... talk to your mom and brother ... they must be worried about you" I said slowly and calmly watching her laugh fade.

"jack ..I .. don't think that's a very good idea I don't know how to face my mom I don't want to tell her about that night , you were the only one I told" she said as a tear rolled down her cheek and she quickly wiped her face.

It fuckin hurts me to see her cry I swear to fuckin god if it was possible for me I'd go back in time and save her , I wish she never had to go through all this. I'm gonna make her forget all about that night , she didn't deserve this.

I quickly got off the bed and sat on the floor beside her , taking her hand in mine "babe you don't have to go through this alone, I'll come with you" I suggested kissing her hand.

before she could say anything I heard my house bell ring ... who would come to my house at this time without texting me?

I went downstairs to open the door I was surprised to see the person standing infront of me , it was blake.

"blake before you punch me , let me tell you , today at school that was a misunderstanding" I begin as I was talking I heard hanna yell from upstairs "jack who's there?"

"Man I just came here to apologize for ... um punching you?" He said , "bro , I understand you were just being a protective brother" I said smiling at him , "hey at least I didn't break my nose" I said and we both just laughed.

Hanna came downstairs "jack who's the-" she begin "hanna oh.. hi" blake said awkwardly .

I took Hanna's hand in mine "hanna we should go talk to your mom" I suggested.

"mom is actually off to some business trip she won't be back so soon" blake said looking at hanna.

"Hanna I think you should just tell blake and he can tell your mom if you feel comfortable telling your brother ..." I suggested. Hanna nodded.

Now me , hanna and blake were all sitting on the couch as blake sat there his eyes all teary , his hands folded in a fist , his face was all red , I knew he was upset and angry and shocked I decided to give hanna and her brother a little privacy and let the living room giving hanna a kiss on the cheek.

Hanna's POV

I finally told blake about that night and it felt like a heavy weight just got lifted off my shoulder. Jack was holding my hand the whole time I was telling blake the story , I tried my hardest not to cry and I actually didn't cry.

Now I was sitting here alone with blake, he looked so upset , I actually smiled a little because he's such a caring , over protective , nice brother I got up from my seat and gave him a hug. "Blake don't worry I'm fine now , jack's helped me a lot to make me forget about that night , I'm not that person anymore. I started to love myself again because jack made me realize who I am, you can tell mom the whole situation and I'm gonna stay at jack's until she's back" I said.
