Hanna's POV

It was a Friday afternoon, I was currently in class, 3rd period which I had with Jack, sammy and ashley . The teacher was currently babbling about some randomass project we are suppose to do for criminology.

I was sitting with sammy and behind me was Jack sitting with some random guy and ashley was infront of me.

"you guys have the whole weekend to work on this project, make sure to be creative and no late entries" the teacher explained .

"It's in partners and you are paired up with the person sitting next to you, no changes" the teacher explained.

"guess we're partners sammy" I said smiling at sammy.

"you can do all the work I'll watch you.. wait not in a creepy way" sammy said giggling .

I felt someone tap on my shoulder i turned around to see Jack with a pout on his face "I wanna be your partner" he said.

"too bad I'm already taken"

"you are my girl" he said bringing his hand up to my face as I heard someone cough.

"Excuse me mrs.gilinsky hands to yourself and start working on your report" the teacher said and I quickly turned away and I heard the whole class burst out laughing.

what was so funny jeez , I just rolled my eyes and sammy was practically dying sitting next to me in his chair laughing.

I noticed how his laugh was so cute, I don't know it was just really adorable.

The period finally ended and I was headed home with Jack we were currently in his jeep listening to "red love" by pia mia and I saw a sad look on his face.

"baby you alright?"I asked placing my hand on his spare hand.

"yeah it's nothing" he said .

"stop hiding" I said.

"It's just that ..uh forget it you'll get mad"he said never leaving his eyes from the road.

"Jack I won't be mad i promise" I assured him.

"it's about Alex" he said clenching his jaw.

"Jack, not again"I said.

"Exactly why I didn't wanna tell you" he said raising his voice.

I didn't say anything in return just kept quiet and I realized we parked outside my house.

"are you waiting for me to leave?" I asked .

"no" he said quietly.

"Jack don't be like this, I love you, Alex won't affect our relationship" i said reaching for this face with my hand and making him face me.

"I'm a guy I can only do so much, like of course I trust you and all but you know baby girl" he said looking me in the eyes.

His face was so beautiful, his features were literally so astonishing , he was so beautiful .

"don't worry" I said leaning in to give him a few pecks on the lips.

"I'll come over in a bit" i said getting out of his jeep and walking towards my house.

I opened the door , I knew Alex still wasn't home because his car wasn't here. Alex has been looking for a house he feels like he's a burden to me since he lives with me but I really don't mind his company, I like it, he's a good friend, we have this connection that we left in the past.
