The following day me and Jack spent together at his place just sitting around , eating and talking and just being with each other.
Currently it was about 11am and I decided to clean Jack's room today because it was getting messier day by day and since Jack couldn't do much i insisted on cleaning it.
Jack sat on one of the sack couches in the corner , laptop on his lap , blasting childish gambino and munching on sour patches and watching me as I put my hair up in a ponytail so my hair wouldn't get all up in my face.
First off I started by picking up all the clothing intems from the floor, the bed, the computer table , literally everywhere.

Everytime i bent down I could feel Jack's gaze burning through me.
"you know I can feel you staring at me" i said while I separated the pile of clothing , the dirty ones from the clean ones still facing my back towards where Jack sat.

"so what? Can't I watch my girl do shit for me?" He said playfully and without even looking I knew he was smirking at this point.

"whatever makes you happy" I laughed off.

"you do, actually" he chuckled.
I turned around to look at him and he was grinning widely showing off his perfect teeth. I also don't get how he has like the most perfect pair of teeth I've ever seen but I wish I was exaggerating rightnow but I'm not , they're that perfect.

"You're so cheesy but I like it" I commented which was true.

"am I your favorite pizza then? Jack asked opening his eyes widely and batting his eyelashes.

I scoffed , it took me a few seconds to get the joke.

"that joke was so lame not gonna lie" I said and started laughing.

"Hey , look you're laughing" Jack said pouting.

"laughing at you babe not your joke" I said smirking this time.

"that smirk makes you look hot" Jack said winking and smiling.

"I am hot though but thanks!" I joked and I felt happy about it deep down because I'm starting to feel more confident about myself , being my self . All thanks to Jack. Jack has changed me as a person but in the best way possible . I couldn't be more happy and glad.

"I thought about it but I don't know" I suddenly heard Jack say.

Oh shoot.

I was so zoned out I missed a part of what Jack was talking about.

"yea same" i said casually and Jack just looked at me weirdly.

"You weren't listening , were you?" Jack asked raising his eyebrow.
I nodded my head even though I felt bad.

"Rude" Jack said making a face and turning his face away and crossing his arms infront of his chest just like a girl and the sight of that made me laugh but it was appropriate to laugh rightnow.

I put away the clothes quickly and walked up to Jack who was practically half laying down with his upper body on the sack couch and his legs spread straight on the carpet.

"hey, look" I stood infront of Jack holding him by his shoulders trying to get him to look at me but he didn't.

"Jack, come on , you can get mad at me later, first it's time for your med baby" I said and this time Jack got up from his seat in like 4 steps so his knee doesn't get hurt.

Without looking at me he walked up to the bed and half way laid down and half way sat up.

I walked up beside him picking up his tablets from the side table and a glass of water and placed it infront of his face.

He took the pills first and then the water gulping it down his throat his one big sip.

"okay I'm sorry , please tell me what you were talking about?" I asked as I got on the bed and sat on his lap putting my legs on each side of his lap.

I was basically sitting on his crotch but I mean I don't think either of us minded.

"No what the fuck, I literally asked you the most important thing but you .. You didn't listen" Jack protested and I noticed he wasn't faking it , he was actually upset about it.

"How can I make it up to you, I'm sorry" i said holding Jack's face with my hand and brushing his cheek.

"promise me you'll stay calm" he asked pleading his eyes and I already knew it's something bad.

"okay , Jack I will stay calm" i said each word slowly and acted normal even though I know what was about to happen won't be good.

"so my dad.. He called" Jack started off and I could see the unfamiliar tone in his voice which I wasn't able to understand.

"Hey! That's a good thing! Is he coming back?" I asked excitingly.

"No hanna. He's not coming back" he bluntly said through clenched teeth.

"wait.. did something happen--" I begin but Jack cut me off.

"for fucks sake! No!" Jack said quickly and I finally felt relieved but flinched because he was literally screaming IN MY FACE.

"Then?" I asked curiously .

"You know how my parents are in cali?" He asked even though he knew I knew.

"Yeah I know" I said.

"well.. " he started and looking away.

"No! Jack stop! Just say it please" I begged and Jack looked at me and I kept my eye contact not looking away as my heart started racing fast.

"well since we don't have good history and im here alone in Canada" he said and I think I knew the next part so I didn't even want to hear it as I felt tears roll down my cheek which I didn't even were there until I felt a hot liquid roll down my cheek and I just crashed my face into Jack's neck and he instantly wrapped his arms around my tiny waist.

Who knew Jack would become my happiness?

Who knew Jack would become the most important person in my life?

Who knew everything doesn't last forever?
