CHAPTER 31: Love Is Sweeter the Second Time Around

(Zoe's POV)

Hindi ko alam kung ano na namang pumasok sa isip nito at nagyayang pumunta sa so called haven namin. Malapit na kayang mag 10 pm tapos pupunta pa kami. Ang labo. We were peacefully cuddling each other earlier and then this idea came into his mind.

"Tristan, ano ba kasing gagawin natin dun? Gabi na masyado."

"I told you, we're going to celebrate because we're back together now."

And I also told you we could celebrate it tomorrow.

"Ng alas diyes ng gabi? Seriously?"

"Yes, seriously. Hindi natin pwedeng ipagpaliban 'to dahil marami tayong dapat i-celebrate."

"Tulad ng?"

"Nagkabalikan na tayo, mahal mo ako and... napatawad mo na ako."

Napataas naman agad yung kilay ko. "Pardon? Napatawad na kita?"

"Yup."

"Excuse me, hindi pa kita pinapatawad. Tinitingnan ko lang kung may chance pa, just so you know."

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever you say babe, dun nadin naman papunta yun."

Ang taas talaga ng confidence level ng boyfriend ko. I wonder kung saan niya nakukuha yan.

Hindi na ako nagsalita hanggang sa makarating kami sa lugar.

"Wear this." Sabi niya sabay bigay ng jacket na extra. Buti naman at naisipan niya akong dalhan. Hindi na kasi ako dumaan sa unit ko, kinaladkad nalang niya ako bigla palabas.

I wore his jacket and went outside with him. I don't know but this jacket is more comfy than mine. Maybe because it's his, it feels like he's also hugging me, giving me warmth.

Umupo kami sa mat, nagulat nga ako na may dala pala siya.

"Ang daming stars." I said admiring them. "Ang ganda."

"Yeah." He lay down. "Pero mas maganda ka."

"I don't really get why men always tend to flatter their women." I murmured as I lay down beside him. He extended his arms to pillow my head and he pulled me closer.

"Sort of flirting, I guess."

"So you're trying to flirt with me?" Bigla kong tanong. Nakataas ang kilay ko. Well, I miss playing with him.

"Kinda. Are you going to flirt with me?" He playfully asked, grinning.

"Let's see." I stared at him and he did the same. His eyes took a glance on my lips. He slowly leaned but the moment where his lips are only one inch apart from mine, I stopped him.

"I don't flirt Mr. Andrade... and kiss flirts."

"Isa lang naman."

"Isa mong mukha mo. Kanina ka pa, naka ilan ka na ba? Oy, first day palang, kotang kota ka na. Sapat na yun."

"Tss. Pambitin ka talaga."

I smiled. "Maiba tayo. Why did you came back? I mean, bakit ka bumalik sa akin. I said I hated you but you still kept coming back."
