PROLOGUE
My whole life shattered that day he left. I already lost count for how many times I prayed for it be just a nightmare... hoping that any moment, somebody would tap my shoulder and wake me up from that dreadful dream... and everything would be back to normal again.
But damn... it was one hell of a reality. And it sting a lot. It sucked big time.
Losing him was the death of me. I was lost. Every good thing in me disappeared. I was left with loneliness, pain, and agony. I never thought love could be this vicious.
But then moving on is a choice, and that's the only choice I had left for me to live in a constant state, and so I did. But life seem to enjoy playing its joke on me that I was still on a brink of moving on... of healing... when he suddenly came back.
Frustrations, anger, pain, hindi ko na alam... nagsama-sama na lahat.
"I'm sorry," nanghina ang boses niya.
"Sorry? Sa tingin mo madadala mo sa isang sorry ang lahat? Sinira mo ako eh, alam mo yun? Hindi naman kase ako isang laruan na pwede mong iwan basta-basta at balikan kung kalian mo lang gusto! You left me and destroyed me! Hindi mo alam kung gaano kasakit yun Tristan! Hindi mo alam!"
"I'm sorry, Ella, ayusin natin to," he hugged me tight like he doesn't want to let me go forever.
"You can't just say a sorry after breaking a person. No. You can't just do that. Because it's not as if a single sorry could fix anything. Not a single sorry could take all the pain that you've caused me."
