Mabilis natapos ang klase ko at nagmamadali rin akong pumunta sa parking lot care of Korina and Kylie. Hinihintay kasi nila ako.
"Hey!" I called Joanna while I fix my bag. "Sabay tayo?" I smiled.
She smiled but shook her head. "May naghihintay na kasi sakin.." She said shyly. Her cheeks even blushed, I think.
"Oh!" I knowingly said. "Okay, next time then?"
She nodded. "Sure." Sagot niya at nagmamadaling umalis.
Lumabas din ako agad at dumiretso sa parking lot. Malayo pa lang ay nakita ko na si Kylie at Korina nagbubulungan. Which is quite.. weird. They don't usually murmur when they talk about someone.
"Hey!" I called, slightly tapping Kylie's shoulder.
"You shocked me!" Nanlalaking matang sabi niya at nakahawak pa sa dibdib niya.
"What're you talking about?" Taas kilay kong tanong.
Umiling si Korina at tinuro si Kylie. "Your friend here, is back on the job."
I gasped. "For real?!"
They both smirked. Back when we were in high school, Kylie used to have these so-called 'victims'. They're guys that caught her attention. Yes people, Kylie is a playgirl.
"Gosh, who's the lucky guy?" I curiously asked.
"I'll tell you some other time." She dismissed the topic. "Right now, you have to go home." She motioned the car.
"We have a lot of things to do. A lot." Korina emphasized.
"Off you go." I said. "Marami pa pala kayong gagawin. You should've said so."
"Pumasok ka na nga!" Korina said irritatedly. Hinawakan pa ang kamay ko at hinila-hila ako.
Umiling ako. "Know your priorities." I meaningfully said. I started to walk away. "Bye! Take care!" Then I ran.
I'm headed to the library. Advance study, I guess. Its 5pm and Dad's work is up to 730pm.
Papaliko pa lang ako sa library nang may nabangga ako. Si Aaron.
"Hey!" Nakangiti niyang bati.
"Hi." Hingal kong sabi. Medyo napatakbo kasi ako para hindi ako mahabol nung dalawa e.
"Where you at?" Napatigil kami sa tapat ng library.
"Library."
"Can you change that decision and come with me instead?" He kindly asked.
