"Mrs.Johnson, this is Doctor Hood- how are you?" Calum spoke slowly.

"Oh hi Doctor Hood, I'm good- how are you?" She spoke.

"I've called you to discuss something new that we've found on Skylar's scans" Calum spoke, a serious effect immediately taking over.

"Okay" my mom spoke hesitantly.

"It's confirmed that Skylar has developed a mass of cancer on her hip bone, we're going to proceed in surgery to remove the mass, but she would like you to be here for the surgery" Calum spoke slowly.

My mom went silent for a few moments, making me nervous.

"Of course I'll be there- I- when?" She asked slowly.

"We'd need to proceed soon, cancer is very fast moving, even while doing Chemo" Calum spoke.

"I- I'm available after Christmas" she spoke, making my heart drop.

"Mrs.Johnson- Christmas is a little over a month away, it would be even into her pelvic bone by then." He spoke.

My mom hesitated

"Are you sure?"

I wanted to slam my head into the bed railing

"Almost positive" Calum responded

"Well- I'm sorry but I won't be able to make it in before then, we're extremely busy" she spoke.

Calum put both arms around me, pulling me into him.

"Are you sure there's no way- I could convince the hospital to pay for your transportation-" "I really can't Doctor Hood, please tell Skylar that I'm sorry" she spoke.

"Why don't you just never come- like at all" I spoke all the sudden, making everything silence.

"Skylar don't be-" "no- what is so fucking important that you can't come and support me" I spoke, feeling my voice crack.

"Sky- you know we're busy a lot-" "you've never been this busy" I spoke quickly.

"Skylar I'm fucking pregnant" she spat out.

I went silent.

"How far" I spat out.

"One month" she mumbled.

"You fucking-" Calum's hand went over my mouth.

"I know you're upset- but don't say anything you'll regret" he whispered firmly, holding me tightly.

"I'll talk to you later" I spoke, immediately hanging the phone up.

Calum hugged me into him even more.

"Don't tell me that they got pregnant to replace me" I spoke slowly.

"I'm sure it wasn't because of that" Ashton spoke quickly.

"Accidents happen" Calum spoke quietly, moving both of his legs on both sides of mine so I could completely lean back into his chest.

"You can schedule it for whenever" I spoke out, looking to Michael.

"Are you sure?" Michael asked me slowly.

"I don't want it to spread" I spoke, grabbing Calum's hands, which rested in my lap.

"Talk to us, when do you want to do it" Ashton spoke slowly.

I looked to Calum's hands, twirling one of his rings.

"This week?" I questioned slowly.

"I think that's best" Michael nodded slowly.

"Any specific day?" Calum asked.

"Honestly, tomorrow I have one surgery that morning, after that I don't have anything so she could be my priority all day"

I shouldn't have said this week

"That would be best" Calum nodded

"Okay, I'll go schedule it now" Michael spoke, looking to me.
