Asuma had been to [Y/N]'s apartment, the shops, the jonin lounge, the training grounds, and the memorial stone. He even met Izumo and Kotetsu at the front gates to see if maybe she'd already been sent out on a mission again. He couldn't find her anywhere and was in a frenzy. He personally wasn't convinced that she was one hundred percent healed and back to herself yet, so he had gone early to check on her.

Finally, he decided to go and see Kakashi, since he had walked her home last night. He knocked once. Twice. A third time and still no answer, so he picked the lock and came in. Kakashi's shoes were by the door and his vest laid on the ground. He wondered what had happened that Kakashi was in such a rush to get his clothes off. Probably tired, or... no. There was no way they would've... She just got out of the hospital!

"Kakashi! Are you here? Have you seen—"

Asuma burst into Kakashi's room and stopped dead in his tracks. There laid Kakashi, naked and limbs tangled around his equally naked sister. At least the sheet is covering everything... They both jumped from their sleep when the door hit the wall, Kakashi immediately pulling [Y/N] closer to him and trying to assess the situation. Once he realized that it was just Asuma, he relaxed his arm around her waist ever so slightly, still in a sleepy haze.

The pair stared back and forth at Asuma for what seemed like an eternity until finally he spoke. "I, uh. I'll see you both in the living room." Then he turned and left, pulling the door closed quickly. Kakashi swallowed and laid back against the bed, groaning. "[Y/N], he's going to kill me." The girl giggled at him and rolled over to face him, placing her hand on his chest. "No he won't... well, hopefully he won't. I'm really starting to take a liking to you."

Kakashi scoffed and shook his head, grinning nonetheless and rubbing his eyes. He finally looked at her and couldn't help the sincere smile that spread over his face. Her hair was a mess, wildly framing her face and sticking up in a few places. Her eyes were still sleepy and her cheeks were a little rosy. Her smile was as bright as always. He reached up to cup her face and ran his thumb over her cheekbone. "I know you just started liking me or whatever," he chuckled, repeating her joke, "but I love you." She blushed and he leaned up and kissed her lips, which were still a little swollen from last night. "So, I guess we'll have to get up and find out if I get to see the light of tomorrow."

The two got up and quickly dressed, pausing only give quick kisses here and there. When they were dressed, Kakashi looked at her and his visible eye widened.

"What is it?"

"Asuma is definitely going to kill me."

"What? Why?"

"You have a huge hickey on you neck."

She clapped her hand to her neck, blushing. "He can get over it." Kakashi shrugged and took her hand. "Well, let's get this over with." He led her into the living room where Asuma was pacing the floor. When he heard them enter, he looked up at them and crossed his arms. "Seriously you two, isn't a bit soon for that? I mean honestly, [Y/N], you just got out of the hospital yesterday! And you two have only been really together for a few days. What the actual hell—"

"Asuma, you of all people know how long we've waited for each other. It's not like we're strangers here." Kakashi said, tightening his grip on [Y/N]'s hand. Asuma glanced down to their intertwined fingers and then looked at his sister, who was looking up at Kakashi with nothing but love and adoration. He sighed and shook his head. He truly was a sucker for her happiness. "Fine. But that doesn't mean I'm happy to know that my little sister and my best friend are getting busy."

"Then knock next time."

"[Y/N], don't push it."
