Thinking quickly, Tiberius brought his right wing up and in front of his throat to block the hairless feline's killing blow. The cat's teeth sank deeply into flesh and bone. Though he had managed to keep himself from getting killed, the hawk had just let the intruder break the bone in his wing, causing him to screech in pain. And by the looks of it, this cat wasn't releasing his hold anytime soon. His teeth felt like they were made of metal such as iron or steel. Green eyes lighting up as blood filled his mouth, the cat shook his head side to side. Pain running up his wing, Tiberius feared that it would be ripped off. Without any warning, he brought his right talons up and raked them across the left side of the cat's face.

With the talons having gone deeper than what Tiberius had expected, the sphynx cat let out a bloodcurdling cry. Letting go of the hawk's wing, he backed away. Scrambling to his feet, the red tailed hawk looked down at his right wing. Limp and bent in a very odd and bad angle, all he could feel in his broken wing was pain and agony. There were a few scratches on his broad chest that stung a little. Shaking slightly, he glanced over at his attacker. Getting into a defensive stance, his talons scraped along the rooftop as he growled.

Paw held over the left side of his face, the hairless cat paced back and forth. He let out quiet hisses of pain and his tail lashed around behind him in irritation. At last, he stopped in his tracks and turned to face Tiberius. His bloodstained teeth bared into a vicious snarl, the feline slowly lowered his paw. The red tailed hawk shuddered when he saw the gaping hole where the cat's left green eye should've been. Now there was just an empty eye socket with blood, glistening red in the lights of the city, pouring out. Three long scratches ran down the left side of his face. His left ear was slightly torn from the same blow that had cost him his eye. Knowing he was dead meat for sure, Tiberius backed away slowly from the cat, praying it would just give up the fight.

However, Tiberius's prayers weren't answered as the sphynx cat let out an outraged yowl. Claws unsheathed to their full extent, he rushed forward. Before the hawk could react to his sudden attack, the feline leaped into the air. His left paw swinging like a baseball bat towards a baseball, he struck the red tail in the right eye. There was so much force behind the blow that it had sent Tiberius tumbling over the roof. The hawk crashed into a pile of wooden boards. One of them fell on top of his head. Seeing stars, he could barely see the cat rushing towards the shed. The last thing the hawk could hear before he blacked out was his little sister screeching...
