Hearing the loud noise clearly now that he was out of his confinement, the little bird noted it was much more louder than what he had heard. Not bothered in anyway though, the little bird blinked his eyes sleepily as he looked around at his surroundings. There were bright flashes of white that would light up the young bird's world. Gazing up, he met two pairs of eyes staring down at him. They belonged to these two figures who had smiles on their faces.

"He's so beautiful," one figure whispered softly. Lowering her head towards the little bird, she nuzzled him lovingly. Happiness filling up inside of him, the youngster purred softly. Watching with pure joy on his face, the other figure remarked, "He's got your eyes." The first figure was about to say something when they all heard a cracking noise close by. Glancing at each other silently, the two large figures slowly turned their heads to look at something. Confused, the little bird followed their gaze to find a small round object. And it was moving too.

About four minutes later, the little bird found himself joined in the nest with an even smaller bird. Frightened by the flashes of light and the explosive noises that followed, she let out a cry of terror and cowered beside him. The young bird was currently questioning why she was so scared. He was comforted by the raging storm all around them. Meanwhile, the two large figures were talking to each other.

"I was thinking that we should name them after this storm," the male figure suggested, glancing up at the dark skies above. Smiling, the female nodded her head at that before nuzzling both the young bird and his little sister. Joining her, the male continued, "I like Rain for this youngster. She seems to be gentle and kind, like raindrops decorating the petals of a flower." He had been talking about the small female.

Smiling at the idea, the female figure gazed down at the little bird and nuzzled him, whispering at the same time, "Fearless and strong, I believe he should be known as Thunder."
