"That was fun! Let's do that again!" Norman squeaked, clapping his paws together in blissful happiness. Yes, he had fallen off the taxi cab during the crash. Thankfully, his fall had been cushioned by Tiberius, who had also fallen off. Actually, it was more like he had been flung off. Getting up, Tiberius allowed Norman to slide down his back as he muttered, "Yeah, sure. Next time, you're going to be inside with a seatbelt."

"Thank you for saving me!" Norman trilled. Without warning, he ran up to Tiberius and hugged his leg. Taken aback by this, the old red tailed hawk glanced up to see Chloe and Buddy watching. He silently pleaded for help. In response, they motioned for him to just let it be. A heavy sigh escaping from him, Tiberius quietly patted Norman on the head as he muttered, "No problem little guy. Now can you please let go of my leg?"

"Never..." Norman mumbled, a smile on his face. A deadpan look appearing on his face, Tiberius tried shaking him off. The guinea pig held on tight though. Out of ideas, the hawk turned to Chloe and Buddy expectantly. Holding up his leg and Norman, he asked hopefully, "Crowbar anyone?"

"Guys, shush! It's happening!" Mel yipped. All eyes turned towards him. It was then they noticed that Gidget and Max were talking to each other. Like, actually talking to each other! Face to face. While most of the Flushed Pets had or were currently leaving, the pets moved closer to watch the spectacle.

Max was talking at the moment. The group got close enough to hear him say to Gidget, "...have you ever lived across from someone but... but you don't really appreciate them until... until... I don't know. Until they're beating a bunch of animals on the Brooklyn Bridge. I guess... what I'm trying to say is... if you ever wanna-"

"Yes!" Gidget cried, interrupting Max. Tail wagging nonstop, she tackled the Jack Russell terrier to the pavement. She licked his face in excitement. Surprised, Max exclaimed, "Oh, okay!" Her whole body shaking with joy, Gidget nuzzled his cheek lovingly. The other pets absolutely adored the sight before them. This wholesome moment could not be ruined.

Until it was.

"Oh great you're in love. How gross for everyone else," Pops grumbled, walking up to the star-crossed lovers. The other pets groaned. Of course the elderly basset hound had to ruin the moment, why wouldn't he?! Gidget and Max stopped what they were doing and looked at each other in awkward silence. Strolling past them, Pops called over his shoulder, "Now move it!"

"Bye!" Mel barked. Deciding it was time to go home, the pets began to disperse. Turning his head to the right to look at Gidget, Tiberius called out, "Goodbye!" Spreading his wings, he took flight. He didn't go far though when he turned around. The other pets were heading to the apartment building he lived in, Pops was strolling away while wondering where the heck he was and Snowball was talking to a few of his comrades who stayed behind. A little girl in a pink tutu was nearing the scene. Gidget, in the meantime, was getting ready to climb up the fire escape of her apartment building. Wanting to help, Tiberius swooped down. Landing, he asked, "Do you need a lift?"

Smiling gratefully, Gidget replied, "Yes please."
