3. Ghost hunting vlog

"Jason called David" Natalie informed David that Jason would bring some people that would tell them if there's ghosts in their house.

She shared her thoughts on why this could be a bad idea. "It'll be okay" David caressed her shoulder.

Later that evening, people started coming over. Everyone was super excited about that day, except for Natalie who was really scared. Once Jason came, he let Natalie know that he was sure, that there were no ghosts.

Around 8 pm two men and a woman knocked on the door. The man immediately sensed something in the air.

When they asked her about any stories she has that makes her believe there are actual ghosts in their house she explained.

"Oh" she said when she remembered one specific morning that both her and David had a weird headache. She shared that story and David remembered the exact day.

"It was when-" he looked at his best friend waiting for her to understand that day, without having to say it.

"Were you partying the night before?" Jason laughed and Natalie blushed for no reason. They were just at home watching movies all night long that night, and it was a special night for both of them. Well, nothing had happened, but they had fun.

They commented on Natalie's stories and went to her room. David was always looking at Natalie since he could tell that she was nervous. He was scared too, if Natalie and his mom believed there were ghost in his house, then he believed it too.

They all stood next to Natalie's bed and for most of the time they asked questions to the ghost and waited for its answer. While everyone was hearing noises assuming it was the ghost, Natalie tried to convince herself it was all fake. "Is this- are you fucking with me?" she whispered trying not to make a scene.

"I am not" he smiled at her trying to make her realize the truth but also to make her feel safe. Natalie was disappointed this wasn't a prank. This was the only time that she wished this was all a good prank on her.

They continued asking questions and as more people believed that there was something in the room, Natalie's fear was getting bigger and bigger.

"I'm not sleeping in here, I can't" she looked at him in the eyes.

"What do you mean?" David asked a little bit concerned. He was enjoying the footage that he was getting for his vlog but seeing Natalie scared was the worst thing.

"I say we all get out and leave Natalie alone in the room asking questions" David suggested at some point. The ghost hunters agreed and everyone started leaving the room.

"David" Natalie said watching him from the other side of the room. She was quiet.

"I'm not leaving" he touched her hand letting her know that he would be by her side.

As Joe was leaving the room he waited for David to exit first. "Oh are you staying?" He asked confused.

"I can't leave her alone!" David said not realizing he has a camera recording in his hands. Nathalie smiled at David's response and the door closed leaving only the two (or three) of them in the room.

They asked all the questions they had and called everyone to come back in. "I thought you forgot we were filming, and had started doing something else" Jason jokes and one of the men wondered if they were dating.

"Oh why do you have separate rooms?" He asked making David nervous.

"We're just friends" David responded and they continued their job. A few minutes later, they had packed their things up, trying to calm Natalie down but also make everyone believe that there were actual ghosts.

Natalie was sitting in the corner looking at everyone while they were saying how cool all of this was. David was just staring at her and got sad. "Natalie, you can literally turn the lights on" and he did, causing everyone to laugh and Natalie to crack a smile.

"Well, sure, the ghost is away now" she joked and they all left the room. One hour later Jason was the last to leave out of everyone.

"I'm sorry I called them Natalie. I didn't believe there would actually be a ghost" he said not making Natalie relax not even a little bit. She and David both smiled and said good night to their friend who left the house.

"So what do we do now?" David asked as he was locking the door.

"I don't know. But we're not sleeping for sure" Natalie laid on their couch. David laughed and she responded serious. "David, I'm not sleeping tonight!" she looked at her room.

"Okay, were not sleeping tonight" he smiled and stretched his hand to grab hers. "Go lay in my bed instead of yours, if it'll make you feel safer"

She got up and followed him in his room. "I'm not sleeping tonight. Not in my room, not in your room, no where" she warned him and laid in the bed.

David saw her laying in his bed, it was no bid deal, but he smiled. He started leaving the room to bring something to eat.

"I'd rather you staying here with me though" she quietly said and saw him stop.

"I'll be here in two seconds" he ran to the kitchen wanting to be as fast as he could. He grabbed two pieces of cake Natalie had baked the other day and some juice and ran back to his room.

Natalie has taken her jacket off "don't you want to put on something more comfortable?" David asked her and she nodded her head.

"I'm not going on there to pick anything" she said like a baby and David walked to her room to bring her something comfortable to wear. He went in his closet to change clothes and let her change clothes too.

When he came out, she was looking good in his sweatshirt and some shorts. He laid on the beanbag and looked at her. "Goodnight Natalie" He said as he was tired.

Natalie waited a couple minutes and finally spoke. "You can sleep here, I can't make you sleep there all night. And honestly, I'm still scared"

David opened his eyes and climbed his bed laying next to Natalie. "Come here" he opened his hands letting her body melt in his chest. "I'm sorry" he apologized for upsetting her with the ghosts.

"I'm sorry for being a baby" she said while still hugging him. "But I'm not sleeping tonight!" she said once again but he eyes were already closed.

David waited a few minutes before he smiled. "Sure" he whispered as they were cuddling and she was snoring already. And he stayed up all night smelling her hair that was in his mouth, making sure she felt safe in his arms.
