19. The one with the five Natalie's (forever)

David received a call from Jason. His best friend wanted him to visit his house at a certain time. "It's a surprise" Jason has said and made David confused. He was excited for the surprise, but he didn't want to get his hopes up.

"I'll be there" he answered and Natalie looked at him. She didn't need an answer but he felt the need to let her know.

"Jason wants me to go there in a couple of minutes"

"Okay, I'm going to get dressed then" because she thought that David would probably ask her to go with him.

"No, Jason doesn't want you there. He asked me if we were together, and he told me not to tell you" David smiled knowing that he didn't do what he was supposed to.

"David, if you know something please tell me" Natalie begged him.

David tilted his head and smiled at her puppy eyes. "I promise I know nothing" he caressed her leg and got up from her bed that they were laying. "I'll be back. He probably has a surprise for you and that's why he doesn't want you there. Anyway, I'm leaving"

Natalie shook her head. She was scared of what Jason had in mind and angry at the same time even though she didn't know if it was a good or a bad surprise. She didn't even know if it was a surprise for her, but still.

David arrived at Jason's and his friend welcomed him, when he sat down and waited for Jason to explain he had no idea.

"Alright David, I know that you love-" Jason stopped himself. He wouldn't want to say that David loves Natalie. "I know that you love working with Natalie" he repeated correcting himself.

David was scared at first, he was excited for the content this might give him, but he didn't know the surprise and the fact that it had to do with Natalie, was making him nervous.

When he saw a bunch of beautiful girls dressed as Natalie's looking at him he couldn't stop laughing. This was his dream, he laughed. He nervously asked a bunch of questions and immediately thought of Natalie's reaction.

He drove the girls and Jason to his place and ran to Natalie's room. He made sure that she was camera ready, "Jason is here" he simply said with his smile wide.

He called Jason and his camera man in, and they started recording Natalie. "Jason got you something because you work really hard" they started talking and explained to her, how good she is at what she is doing.

Jason left the room to bring the girls that were hired to look and sound like Natalie, David gave the real Natalie a pillow to cover her face. "I don't want you to look" he said and Natalie thought that it was just them two in the room.

David made a scary noise trying to scare Natalie, and she didn't like that. She still thought they were alone and felt like she could talk in her sweet voice. Sometimes she would use that to make him be more sweet towards her.

"David" she calmly whispered and David's stomach felt weird. That voice was doing something to him. He remembered that they weren't alone in the room. "It's fine we'll clean it up afterwards" he answered casually not trying to make a big deal out of this. "You're fine" he repeated when she said that she didn't like that.

When the girls finally walked in holding Natalie's favorite snack and she could open her eyes, she burst into laughter.

His eyes stuck on her, he even laughed when she did. The way she made him smile any time was becoming more and more obvious. Natalie looked at all of the girls looking like her.

They had fun with the paid actors, they even invited some of their friends to film the bits. When it was time to let the girls go, Carly who really liked the bit, shouted that all the Natalie's could go.

David smiled while looking at Natalie. "Except for that one" he pointed at his best friend. "You're fucked for life. You're forever" David tried being romantic but also didn't want to be obvious.

He felt like a teenager that has a crush when it came to Natalie. She blushed and nodded her head. She liked what she was hearing. It looked like a promise that they would always be together.

Jason called an Uber for the actors and the friends continued on with their day. At the end of the day, David was laying on his bed and Natalie walked in the room to give David his laptop.

"Do you want anything else?" she asked trying not to sound too tired,, even though she was.

David looked at her tired eyes. He didn't like that he was doing all this stuff to her, but on the other hand he couldn't be less of a boss to her. And she knew that he was always the nicest.

"Your company" he smiled and pat the bed next to him making room for her. His laptop was still closed waiting to edit the vlog. Natalie laid next to him and covered her body with his blanket.

Her eyes immediately closed and she felt her eyelids get heavier, and she knew that she would fall asleep. "David if I lay here I'll sleep" she let him know.

"It's okay" he opened the laptop and looked at the clips of Natalie with all the girls impersonating her.

"You're the best Natalie" David said while still looking at his computer screen. Natalie smiled at herself not commenting on his cute compliment".

She was too tired to make fun of him and he understood that. Before you fall asleep, I want to know one thing" he waited for her to nod her head. "Am I too much?" He asked and she didn't respond. "Would you quit?" He asked and locked his eyes on her waiting for her to say it do anything.

It might seem like a silly question but at the moment, he couldn't picture a life without Natalie. But the one thing he for sure didn't want to happen, was him making Natalie tired and unhappy. So he wanted to know.

"You said it perfectly David" Natalie caressed David knee. Her eyes were red right before she fell asleep on his shoulder. "This is forever" she pointed at them and rested her head on his shoulder.

David smiled at himself. "Goodnight Natalie. Thank you" He said knowing that she was already asleep.
"I love you, forever" he smiled and started editing. Even though a few minutes ago he was tired, their mini conversation gave him strength to stay up all night, laying next to Natalie. And not moving so she could sleep peacefully. And that's what he did.
