24. "I fell in love with her"

David had to fly all the way to Rhode Island for a speech he was supposed to talk to a college. He was always travelling with Natalie but with other people too. Like most of the times Jason was with them, or Jeff, or Carly even. 

Colleges never asked for him to only bring one, or two specifically, and if they ever did, he knew he would prefer bringing Natalie. Anyway, this time they had no problem either, but David wanted to take Natalie with him. He wanted them to be alone.

He was sitting in the car, thinking if he wanted to tell Natalie that he wanted to be just the two of them, or if he wanted to lie. "It's better if i lie" he thiught cause it was safer that way. He didn't want her to think that he liked her. Even though he did. Natalie got in the car and he announced that they would fly the next morning. She asked if she should let Jason know, and he got sweaty. He was a good actor but when it came to Natalie, he couldn't lie.

"Well I can only bring one person" he finally said, and Natalie got suspicious.

"Really?" she asked. "How come?"

"Well, I don't know, I don't care, It's just a show. It'll be me and you, we'll have fun"

"Yeah, of course we will. We don't need Jaosn" she laughed and they started driving, while Natalie was booking the flights. She was so excited when she was planning a trip with David, because he never made it stressful for her. He was the perfect amount of laid back, and organized. They were literally the best duo. 

The next morning Natalie woke up and went to Dvid's room to wake him up. He was already up, talking Jason on the phone. She knocked on the door, but he didn't hear. She didn't want to listen to what they were saying but it seemed like it was a secret so she really wanted to see what he was hiding.  She waited for him to actually talk, but nothing happened so she walked into the room and David stopped talking. "Okay Jas, talk to you later" he hanged up the phone and looked at Natalie. "Oh my God!" he burst into laughter. He had just noticed that they were dressed the exact same. They had the same hoodie on. They both laughed.

"We can't go out like this David" she laughed and he smiled.

 "You're right. I'm gonna change" he took of the hoodie and looked at his clothes to find something else. Natalie was just staring at his body, it felt good knowing that she was one of the only people in the world that have seen him naked. David was still shirtless when he caught  Natalie smiling while staring at him. "What are you looking at?" he joked and posed showing off his muscles.

"You trying to figure out what to wear" she kind of lied. She stood up and went into the closet with him picking up hoodies and resting them on his body to see if they look good. David was now smiling at the fact that she was picking out clothes for him. He was so lucky.

They drove to the airport and waited to get on the plane. They sat next to each other, and tried to pick a movie to watch. "I don't even know why you want to choose a movie with me, I know you'll be asleep in like 5 minutes" David made fun of her.

"That happens when you pick the movie, so let me pick one now" she got defensive. They fought over little things, and they laughed at themselves for that. They had pretty much the same test in movies, but they still wanted to disagree on that.
