23. The one with the big surprise part2

Louise gasped and quickly left closing the door behind her. "You won't believe what is happening in there" Louise said to a young lady that was working there too.

"Are they?"

"Oh no no. He just proposed!" Louise said all excited.

"Are you sure? I think he has said that they're just friends in the past. That's what Mike told me" the other woman was in disbelief.

"Are you actually saying that they don't seem like they're dating?"

"Well, to me it looks like it. But if the boy says they're just friends, then we have to believe h-" she was stopped when the door opened.

A very smiley David opened the door and looked at the ladies. "I couldn't help but listen, I'm sorry but I didn't propose" he said and closed the door.

Natalie burst into laughter. "Oh my god! I love them"

David gazed at her laugh. He couldn't wait until tonight. Natalie noticed him staring, and smiled.

When David was done filming, and they let him go, he thanked everybody that they were understanding that he was busy.

Natalie was walking in front of him and David slowed down. He waited for her to leave the building and then he searched with his eyes for Louise and her friend.

When he saw them standing there right by his door, he run up to them. "Thank you" He said once again. "And, I don't think I should say this right now, but I can't hide it anymore" David got excited. "I'm asking her to be my girlfriend tonight" he finally said it. "Wish me luck"

The two women hugged him and congratulated him and he left. When he got into the Ferrari he looked at her.

"Are you ready?" David asked and his hand was shaky.

Natalie nodded. She could tell by his actions that what they were about to do was really important to him. And because she had in mind that they would go to a meeting, she tried getting ready to be a good assistant. For him.

When he started driving he couldn't help but smile. He hated the fact that he couldn't keep stuff from her. He wanted to tell her all week. But he always seemed to forget that the surprise was for her.

As they were driving, Natalie noticed David's hand shaking. She took a deep breath and made a move. She reached out to his hand and held it. She wanted to let him know she was right there. By his side.

They were getting closer to the destination when David pulled out his phone to text Zane. "Let me text. Don't text and drive"

David thought that she was right. He hadn't thought of that. But he had to let Zane know that they were close. "Call him and let me speak to him"

Natalie searches for Zane's number and called. When she heard Zane's voice she gave David his phone.

"Hey Zane, I'm on my way to that meeting I told you about. I'm close. I'm calling because I'm driving and I couldn't text you. Momma Natalie wouldn't let me" David laughed and told Natalie to take the phone back.

"Momma Natalie?" she laughed.

"Do you prefer wife?" He joked and kept on driving. "We're here" he opened up his camera and started filming both of them. He placed it on the car and Natalie searches for a building. She could see the parking lot, but nothing more.

"That's the parking lot, where are we supposed to go now?" she looked at the cars everywhere near. It was a place with a view, and the only thing she could see except for the cars was the city lights. It was pretty from there.
