57. Carly sank the ship (part 2)

"I just didn't have anything else to post on tiktok lol" Carly responded. And honestly it sounded so nice but the fact that she's didn't ask before or even after she posted it, made David furious.

"You could ask me though" he simply typed and Natalie nodded. She could feel him being mad. She wouldn't want to be the one receiving those messages from David.

"Am I overreacting?" he asked Natalie.
"No it's your right to have a say on what people say about you" she reassured him.
"But like I wouldn't care if anybody that didn't know me personally said this. That's Carly people are going to believe her"

"Well, I didn't say any lies did I?" the fact that she kept trying to make him feel like an idiot was something that made Natalie mad too.

Natalie opened her phone to watch the tiktok.
"When everyone thinks that your friends are dating"..."but in reality you know that they're just friends" and then she sang along to a song. Right before the video ended, the word DATALIE was written.

"Was she even asked?" Natalie asked David not being sure if he had told her to join them.

"I don't think she understands how much this means to me" he shook his head in disappointment. "What's she doing?"

"Well, no one asked you but anyway.. You just have no right telling people that me and Natalie are just friends Carly" he quickly typed and sent it. Natalie offered to go back home and he turned to look at her. "I'm sorry, we should be watching at the stars right now and not worry about Carly and her tiktok" he caressed her hand.

"We're not worries about that. What if she implied that we're just friends.. it doesn't mean it's true" she talked peacefully saying the things he wanted to hear at the moment. "And what if everyone things we're just friends. We are the only ones to decide what we are" she looked deep into his eyes and he felt relieved.

He realized how stupid it was of him to get mad about a stupid tiktok.

"Are you guys dating?" Carly finally answered while David was already driving back home.

"Yes" Natalie types from David's phone because she was mad that Carly was being so bitchy. "She asked my tonight" she typed and turned to lol at David.

"What are you doing with my phone?" David laughed and reached his hand to grab his phone. Instead Natalie grabbed his hand. She looked at the red light and bit her lip smiling.

"Well, I'm doing it" she laughed awkwardly and closed her eyes to take a deep breath. "Do you wanna be my boyfriend?" she asked and even though she knew his answer her heart was beating fast because she finally said it.

"I thought you'd never ask" he laughed and pulled her closer. He kissed her cheek and smiled. "Yes" he officially answered and they both laughed.

"Now fell me what you did with my phone"

"I just said to Carly that we're dating" they laughed. "She's gonna freak out"

"I just hope she doesn't make a tiktok about it" David joked and he immediately felt bad. "I just wish I knew why she did that"

"I dunno Dave"

"She shouldn't do it for many reasons, and even if we actually weren't a thing, she should think of all the shippers, she just sunk the ship" he admitted to Natalie.

"We don't care David. People shipped us from day one, do you think now that they're actually true, that they're gonna stop shipping?" she rubbed his arm.

She pulled out her phone and recorded David driving the Ferrari, with the LA peaking from behind. She simply posted that on her story. No drawings or gifs or even texts. Just David.

She didn't tag him but everyone knew it was him, there was no need to. As soon as she posted that, hundreds of people replied to her story. One account asked "are you guys dating?" she read it and simply typed "yeah lol"

She knew that that person would most likely post it. Some people might thing she was speaking literally or some might think that she was joking. Either way, she hoped that that would cheer David up.

She renewed David notifications and he had just gained 78 followers. "Are you feeling happier now?" she asked showing him his notifications while he was parking the car.

"I'm feeling a lot more happier now" he had his hands still on the wheel. "But not because of that" he bit his lip and got closer. "You're the reason I'm happy" he cupped her face with his hands and left no distance in between them.

He presses his soft lips onto hers, both their eyes closed, they were finally making out, basically on public, since they were on the driveway. "I mean it" he kissed her one more time and managed to make her blush like she was a schoolgirl.
