33. Talking about marriage vlog

David, Jason, Natalie and the new assistant were all in David's car waiting for Jonah to come back.

When Jason mentioned how much David's tik tok is growing, Natalie smiled.

"Yeah his tik tok, Yeah. But most importantly his tik tok with Natalie" Jason says and everybody laughs.

"Wait, does it have lots of views?" Natalie asks David by touching his shoulder.

David tried to ignore the weird feeling in his stomach. "Yeah" he simply smiles trying not to look into her eyes.

"Are you kidding me? It has millions of likes" Jason realizes that David wants to be humble.

"People really love us Nat" David says it as a joke. But he knows that he's been feeling things lately.

"Yeah I know" she looks at her feet. She hated when the shipping thing came out. She started feeling that their friendship or relationship or whatever it is they have, is fake. She's constantly worrying if it's just for the views.

David noticed her being bumbed out. Her reaction to these kind of jokes was exactly the reason he didn't want to confess. That, and also the fact that he wasn't sure himself, if what he felt was love.

"They really love us. Even Jason is rooting for us" David laughs and tries to make Jason take the wheel. He doesn't want to get exposed.

"Jason's only rooting for us for the content" Natalie responds. "If people didn't ship us, he wouldn't either"

"No that's wrong" Jason turns to look at Natalie. "You're wrong" he says and David is looking at Jason waiting for what he has to say. He really wanted to hear his friends opinion. It gave him hope.

Natalie waited for Jason's response but she had to admit, she didn't know that it wasn't all for the views.

"You're literally made for each other. You've known each other for years and you're best friends first. Both of you are into dating friends and generally you're into the same stuff. Family, food, everything. You have the same taste" Jason explained. He could be talking about how meant to be they are for hours.

David was smiling hearing Jason saying all of this. He liked what he heard, made him believe more and more that he is actually in love.

"Too bad, you know what they say Jason. Opposites attract each other" Natalie tries to brush it off and realizes that David is looking at her. When she turns, she sees him focusing on her only.

"So you wouldn't marry me" David simply asks.

"For the vlogs? No" Natalie responds. She would never date someone if she wasn't sure that he is truthful. And she knew that David cared for her, but this whole love thing was new.

Right before David starts talking and explaining that it wouldn't be just for the vlogs, Jason cuts him off by suggesting him putting out his camera.

Natalie's "Ugh" made David turn around. Him recording all of it made her feel like she was right. It was all for the vlogs. But David hadn't thought of recording it. He was so into the conversation and wanted to know what she had to say, that he hadn't thought of it as content.

He starts explaining where they are and what they're doing. "I don't even know why I'm entertaining this stupid conversation" she jokes like she's in disguise, and it makes David laugh.

"You're basically married already" Jason says and the new assistant shakes her head in agreement. David and Natalie looked at their friends. Turns out everyone sees it except for them.

"David always saying I wanna get a pool but Natalie won't let me" Jason imitates his friend. Natalie laughs. For some reason the fact that David talks about her when she's not around makes her feel happy. Why though? It's normal.

Jason goes on listing things that prove that Natalie should date David. "I mean you guys live together and you haven't fought not even once" he finally says.

"That's not true, we fight all the time" David disagrees.

"Yeah like a married couple. For like, couple of hours and then you don't even say you're sorry" Jason says and Natalie smiles at herself remembering the times that David comes to her room just to give her a hug, because he knows he made some mistake.

"That's not true either. I always say I'm sorry" David tried to make it look good again. Natalie shakes her head. "Right Nat?"

"Right Dave" they both smile.

They're all quiet for a while, while Natalie and David are still smiling at each other.

"I mean come on" Jason breaks the silence by being so loud. "Look at you!"

"Yeah, why would you not wanna marry me?" David asks Natalie.

Before she even thinks to answer, Jason says "yeah he's good looking, he's got a nice car"

"I mean I have a nice car" she says trying not to answer to the actual question.

"That he bought you" Jason comments and everybody laughs. She's starting to liking this conversation. It wasn't weird talking about them no more.

"Just go on a date" the assistant suggested.
"Yeah and you'll see what happens" Jason completes the girl and David immediately turns to look at Natalie. If she's down, he's down.

"No way" Natalie shakes her had but she's still laughing. "It would've been so awkward" she says thinking that when they past the awkward phase, they would really have fun.

"What would be awkward? Haven't you already spent countless nights eating just the two of you or haven't you gone to the movies alone?" Jason tries to make them understand that they've been on dates before.

Natalie looks at David. She really wants to say yes, but then everybody would understand that she has feelings for David. She has this profile on the vlogs that she's always sassy and with an attitude.

She locks her eyes on David, who is excited to even know that she's thinking about it. He shakes his head slightly to let her know that she can say yes. "I guess" she finally caved in and David's smile is wider.

"Now if you excuse us guys, tonight we got a date" David said excited and started driving. Jason looked at his friend being super happy and he was proud.

"Tonight? I can't. I have plans" Natalie says and David looks at her through the mirror. He totally believes her, he just wants to know with who. "I'm kidding" she laughs and David is relieved.
