20. David hosting the TCAs vlog

David knee that these days would be really busy for him and Natalie. He had the vlogs, and the talent show and now the awards.

Natalie couldn't believe that Dave would actually host the Teen Choice Awards.

"Other than me you get to choose one person with you backstage" Meghan announced to David. "And I kinda already told Jason" she smiled because she felt awkward. "We were talking about it and he was super excited I told him he's the one"

David thought to himself. "Well, I guess Jason is good" David tried to hide his disappointment that Natalie wouldn't be by his side.

"I'm sorry David. I'll tell him that I was wrong!" Meghan took a step back.

"No, no! Jason will be heartbroken. And, also, he's going to be so supportive! Having him here with me is going to be a good idea really" David tried to convince both Meghan and himself.

Meghan walked away to try and get him one more person. Joe walked in, watching David walking back and forth trying to find a solution and make Natalie be there with him. "I hate to stop you from thinking, but where will I be hanging out?" Joe said all excited.

"You? You'll be there?" David was confused on how Joe was allowed to be there but Natalie, HIS Natalie couldn't:

"Aw I love it when you show me how much you need me around you!" Joe sarcastically said and then answered. "I'll be the camera man for the second channel video you're gonna upload, so I'll be there for some time" Joe finished his sentence and surprisingly show David light up.

"Great idea dude!" David hit Joe's arm and left the room.

On his way out, he bumped on Meghan to tell her his idea. But Meghan has already talked to some people and got one more pass, for Natalie.

"You're the best" David hugged Meghan and run to Natalie to tell her the good news.

Natalie was sitting talking on the phone when David's big smile, made her want to end that phone call right away. But for his sake, she didn't. When she had made a good deal for David, she closed the phone and waited for David to tell her what he had to say.

"Nat, I got great news" he smiled. "I managed to get a pass for you backstage! You're going to be with me all the time! Well, except when I'm on stage. But you get what I mean"

Natalie hugged her best friend and thanked him. "I love you, I'm so proud of you Davy!" she kissed his cheek when she remembered talking to Jason a few minutes back. "Wait a minute"

David held her hands. "Let me stop you there and tell you that it's not my fault" David senses what Natalie was about to say.

"You managed to get me one? You tried to get me backstage when Jason was showing me his pass thirty minutes ago?" Natalie looked at him confused. She hated when she wasn't appreciating stuff but this hurt her.

"Natalie, there was a mis-" David tried to say when a lady cut him off and dragged him on stage with her.

David spend some minutes saying his lines but with his eyes he was trying to look for Natalie. She hadn't even gotten her pass, she couldn't go to his trailer.

When he was done with some stuff he took a break and looked around for her, it was easy since she was sitting right next to Carly and Zane. "Natalie you forgot this" David gave her the pass. "I literally need you back there with me"

Natalie gasped and followed him. "Thanks" she said not even looking at him. She was embarrassed that she was being childish.

"If they had let me chose, I would only have you in there with me" David pointed at his trailer. "Just so you now. Now let's wear that" he offered to help her wear the card that said her name.

He helped her and looked at her, he pulled out his disposable and took a picture of her. "You look good in that!" he smiled and walked away.

She felt like his smile was weird but she didn't say anything, when she followed him, he shouted without even turning. "Read that thing"

They both stopped and David turned to look at Natalie's face. The card said her name, and right below that, it's supposed to write the reason she's backstage. And hers just said "Partner". She smiled at the word, she loved calling herself David's partner.

"Now can we go closer so I can finally meet my hero?" David laughed and Natalie did too.

"You're such a dork" she grabbed his arm and walked with him. "Thank you so much for this"

"I wouldn't have it any other way" David truthfully said and kissed Natalie's forehead. "You're the best partner ever"

They both laughed.
