44. Psychic readings

Jason was brainstorming about vlog ideas the other day when he came up with a psychic. He thought maybe they could visit one and tell them about their past and maybe their future if they wanted to.

Natalie who was weirdly quiet the whole time, got excited. David and Joe all thought it was a good idea. So now the only problem was that they had to find someone that was good at what he did but also fine with cameras and filming.

After some searching Taylor handed Jason a piece of paper with the details of someone with psychic powers. A few minutes later, Jason had an appointment meeting with him at five.

Later that same day, David drove Natalie, Jason, Jeff, Carly, Jonah and himself to the address Jason had given him. They all enter a small room but full of items. The room was super spooky and the group of friends couldn't stop laughing at how weirdly scary the room was. "It's just a room" Natalie laughed questioning how a simple room was that scary for them.

A woman was waiting for them standing next to a big drawing of a hand. "Welcome" she smiled at them and made them sit. She talked about what she does and tried to make them feel more comfortable. "I am not here to tell you when you'll die. Whenever you feel weird I need you to ask me to stop you. Are there any things, someone doesn't want me to tell them? That way, whenever I feel something about it I can filter it out and it'll be like I never saw it" she was super nice and Natalie said she doesn't want to know how or when she'll die. Jason agreed and then he sat on the chair.

The woman whose name was Janice told him that there were many ways she could read him. She listed everything and Jason decided he wanted her to do the aura read him. She started talking about his past, Jason was shocked as she was right in whatever she said. She said all kinds of things to Jason and then it was Carly's turn. She wanted Janice to read her palm. She heard everything the gifted woman had to say and it was time for Jonah. Once they were done with him everyone looked at Natalie and she knew she had to go up there.

David patted his friends arm and smiled. "I don't know" Natalie buried her head in between her arms. "Touch that" she lifted up hers hand. When David touched her hand he laughed at how scared she was. "It's so sweaty!"

"It's alright I'll go first then" he handed Jason the camera he was holding and sat on the chair opposite of Janice. He wanted her to do all of them. "Why don't you try a little bit of all?" he smiled and hoped she could do that. The woman who was so kind the whole time, agreed for the challenge.

She started reading his cards. She pulled out lots of cards and explained what she saw coming. "Love is a big thing for you. I can tell someone very special is coming in your life" she said and David immediately thought of Natalie. He shook the idea off his mind and continued listening to the woman. "Oh no my bad, that special someone isn't coming in your life, but they're coming back. It's someone that you already know" David's mind went to Natalie once again while everyone else thought of Liza.

She then touched his hand. "Okay so I see you really are a romantic guy. Love is everywhere for you. I see someone that doesn't know how you feel, you confess. I think maybe you get some kind of rejection" everyone laughed. As Janice noticed something in his hand "Oh no, that was not a rejection. I see mutual feelings maybe"

As soon as David heard about that, he made the mistake to look at Natalie. Just a quick second, but it was enough for him to blush. "Tell me about my past"

She asked for one of his rings. "What I get from that is that you're close with your family, but not in a traditional way" she explained what she saw and David simply agreed. "Now, on your love life I see simplicity. You've only been in love once in your life, but you do believe that you've been in love more than once"

David thought of Liza. "No I know I've only loved one girl"

"Careful there though, in love doesn't mean love" she winked at him. "Oh wait a minute, you have been in love twice. I just saw a recent one"

David was confused "recent?"

"Yeah other than the big love of your life, you might have been in love one more time just a couple of years later" she said talking about Liza. Everyone was quite since no one thought that the old, classic love of his life that Janice saw was Natalie. "Those are two different kinds of love though. One is simple romantic, almost husband wife. You care and she cares. You're the ultimate love. The other one started as a need for love from both ways. That's why it ended while the first one still holds on" she finished talking and a really confused David went back and sat next to Jason.

"Natalie it's your turn!" Jason said and she shyly sat on the chair.

"Hi how are you?" Janice said and they had a little talk before she started reading her. "Do you maybe want them to leave?" she offered since she was super nervous.

"No it's okay" Natalie smiled knowing that these people were her people, and it wasn't serious. "It's not that big of a deal I guess"

"I'll only talk to you about light things. Love and friends" Janice smiles and patted her hand. "Let's start with the past. I see a problem in your family. Maybe a divorce, that you are now feeling really good about. I see normal life, friends, crushes, school, boyfriends... ooh so now I see a really big change in your life. I see a few years back, there was a really big change in your career life but also in your love life?" Janice said confused not understanding how the two connected.

"I.. I moved out to LA for work I guess but that was the time that me and my ex boyfriend broke up" Natalie explained.

"Oh okay" Janice said confused remembering something she saw on David's cards. "I don't know if you want me to tell you about your future before you go" once Natalie said she wanted that, Janice started looking at her cards. "I don't know how many things you want me to tell you, but I see that your current boyfriend might be a keeper" Janice smiled at Natalie thinking that she was giving her a really good prediction.

"I don't have a boyfriend" Natalie commented confused.

"Really? Are you sure?" Janice tried to understand. "But I see someone that you're really close with, you really love and you're also living together?"

Natalie blushed and burst into laughter. "Oh now that's my best friend" David couldn't keep his eyes off Janice waiting for her next word.

"Oh, well, he's a keeper" she said now knowing that they were talking about David.

Natalie stood up and walked to her friends thinking that they were done.

"Wait can I see one more thing about you?" Janice pointed at David. She felt something weird between him and Natalie and she also found some interesting things on both their readings.

David was scared but sat once again on the chair.

"I'm just really confused" she touched David's hand. "Are you dating or not?" she asked them and tried to find the answer herself. "So you both have a special place in each other's hearts" she looked at Natalie while holding David's arm. "But you're not-" she saw the same look on both their eyes. They were in love, but secretly. Not wanting to change that, she ended her reading. "Anyway" she let David go to his friends and before they all got in the car, she approached Jason.

Jason smiled speculating what she might've saw. "Do you thing they'll get together?" Jason asked super excited.

"They must be. It's meant to be. This love is one of a kind" she honestly answered.
