38. Instagram pictures

David and Natalie were in Chicago with friends discussing vlog ideas when once again datalie popped up.

"I don't want to continue this thing!" Natalie raised her hands and stood up walking away from the group of her friends. Most of them, people that two years ago she only heard about from David, and now they were her friends.

Ilya laughed. "Natalie it's just a joke" he shouted and David felt bad.
"That's exactly what I hate. I don't want to make them believe there's something going on between us when there isn't" she just felt bad for David's fans.

It was like nobody even heard her, Alta turned to his computer screen, and looked at something with Jason. But David locked his eyes on her. When Natalie noticed, he slowly smiled. He stood up and approached Natalie who was resting her head on the window. Without knowing the reason she smiled back. Just because her best friend smiled.

He stood next to Natalie and rubbed her hand. "Sorry if this is making you feel uncomfortable"

"It doesn't. Really" she smiled and was truthful. "I just don't like lying"

"You said earlier that you don't like saying that we're dating when we are not" he said and smiled wider planning his next words. Nathalie nodded. "So you would prefer saying the truth?" Natalie nodded again. "So you would prefer us dating?" he nodded his head to make her nod too.

Natalie tilted her head. And playfully played with David's jacket. "Do you have something to tell me?"

David laughed and touched Natalie's arm, holding it close to his heart. "I don't know"

Natalie blushed. All this tension between them was usual the past year, but nothing ever happened.

"David-" she wanted to say something. But she didn't know what, but he cut her off by cupping her face and getting closer.

"I don't know how I feel, but I'm for sure not lying to them OR you" he simply whispered.
Natalie looked deep into his eyes and reached for his hand. "Feel this! Feel my heart" she made him touch her chest.

David remained close to Natalie and kept holding her arms. "I'm glad we solved this problem" David smiled when he figured out that Jason was taking a picture of them and laughed it out.

"Let me take pictures of you" Jason plead them. "You'll post them on Instagram later and break the internet"

Everyone in the room laughed and headed to the balcony to take pictures of the two.

At first David simply hugged Natalie and they both smiled. Later they looked at each other but that was too romantic. Then David was in front with Natalie hugging him from behind and popping her head from his shoulder. They tried more poses and Jason found adorable every single one he took.

When David hugged her from behind and Natalie touched his arms -posing for the picture she actually liked the best- his cold hands made her feel warm inside them. It was weird. How at peace she felt knowing that David was there.

He lifted her up and she did too, trying to be more playful. And they at themselves falling and failing to look pretty.

Eventually they were tired of the photo shooting and headed inside to pick some pictures and plan the captions. That's when Natalie realized that she was only careful of what people think about her and David. She could joke about her dating Zane or her dating Jeff. But when it came to her and David, because she actually had feelings, it hurt her faking a relationship.

They sat on the bed next to each other showing pictures one to another and proposing captions. When Natalie suggested "bffl" David didn't hate it, but he also didn't love it.

"It could mean rather 'best friend for life' or 'best boyfriend for life' though" she winked at him and David choked on his water and immediately agreed.

"I could just say that we tried for these two" he showed her the pictures of them failing to pose. "It's pretty lame though" he looked back at it.
"No it could mean lots of things. 'Trying'" she liked his caption. It was less of a tea and she wanted to exchange captions but David couldn't use bffl.

It was time to post them and they pressed "post" waiting for people to like their pictures and possibly freak out or even hate on them.

"Did you just friend zone me?" David commented on her photo without her knowing before.
Natalie read his comment from her notification and gasped. "David!" she looked at him shocked that he commented that. "Delete that other I will answer" she laughed.

When David wouldn't delete his comment and it was now too late to do that too, she wrote "no" but wasn't brace enough to actually comment that so she deleted it.

David who was sitting next to her and saw what she was about to comment laughed. "Pussy"

Natalie hit David's arm and lowered her body so she could lay next to David, and hugged his body. He stayed there still because he didn't want Natalie to move or take her hands away from his stomach. He touched her hand and he also played with Natalie's hair.

David was caressing Natalie's hair when he realized how lucky he was. Earlier that day, they basically confessed their feelings but there was no pressure. They could be themselves but knowing that they're loved.

"Thank you" Natalie interrupted his thoughts but it was like she knew what he was thinking about. But in reality she was thinking the exact same thing. How grateful she should be that she had someone to be that comfortable that they had feelings for each other but they didn't need to rush anything.
