58. Nat isn't into fuckboys (tatalie vlog)

David looked at Natalie's closed door once again. She had been in there for hours. At first he didn't notice but now he was concerned that she was mad at him. He got up and slowly walked to her door. With his forehead resting on her door, he softly knocked. "Nat?"

"Come in" she said and nodded to Corinna to be quiet. "What's wrong Dave?"

"Nothing's wrong, I was just worried" he smiled and went to lay next to Natalie. "Do you mind if I just rest here?"

"No, but David I'm on the phone with Corinna" Natalie showed him the Face time.

"Are you guys saying any secrets?" he asked. "Then I don't care. Keep talking I actually love it" he closed his eyes when Natalie reassured him that they didn't have any big secrets.

Natalie laughed at how cute David was. She knew how much he loved sleeping next to awake people. "Anyway" she took away her eyes from the adorable David. "What was I saying?"

"You were reading to me Todd's DMs" Corinna reminded her and David's eyes were suddenly wide open. He didn't come in there to listen to the two girls talking about boys, but that was a juicy conversation.

"Natalie, are you still awake? Can I come over?" Natalie started reading the messages out loud when David interrupted her.

"Nat, am I supposed to know about these?"
"What do you mean?" Natalie asked confused. Why wouldn't he be?
"I don't know. I think I shouldn't be listening to these" he started getting up to leave Natalie alone in the room.

"Are you jealous Davey?" they heard Corinna playfully ask through the phone.
"Yes Corinna I'm so jealous" he smiled.

All night, he couldn't stop thinking about Todd asking Natalie to come over. Why would he want to come over? He knows that they literally live together? He wouldn't do that to him. Would he? What if Natalie says yes?

Next morning, he called Corinna. He wanted to know how she felt about that. On the phone with Corinna and sitting across Natalie he thought of something.

As he was sure that probably none of the girls actually thought that Todd was serious, he wanted to prank Todd. He asked for Natalie to screenshot the messages, he told her his plan.

Putting the screenshot up on a billboard next to Todd's picture, seemed like a brilliant idea to both of them. Few days later they're ready to show it to their friends.

As soon as Natalie got the text that the billboard was ready, she and David drove to watch it. "Tomorrow morning we're showing it to everybody" they said in between the laughs.

They knew he wouldn't be mad, and he honestly wasn't. They laughed about it knowing how flirty Todd was in general.

The next night, while on their way home from partying, Jason was making fun of how good looking Todd is and how he gets whoever he wants. "Jase thanks but that's not the case" a drunk Todd responded.

His eyes fell on Natalie and she burst into laughter. "Oh God" she rolled her eyes knowing where this conversation was going.

"If I could have whoever I wanted, I'd be dating Natalie now" he said and as soon as Natalie said stop, Jason changed the subject.

"You know what the best part of it is?" David interrupted his friend to finally say what's on his mind for the last month. "You could go up to the girl and be like yeah man, after Todd talked to you last night he went and fucked four other girls and the girl will go oh my God he's so funny"

Everyone laughed because it was true while Natalie didn't. "Hold up, you say this all the time about me. The whole thing with The Bachelor too!" Natalie asked David.

He was silent for a while. He didn't think he would be that obvious. "Yeah but like I'm not wrong"

"Are you saying that I like Todd because he's cheating?" Natalie got all defensive. She was a little drunk but she for sure knew that she was offended by her friends words.

"Nat I'm not saying that" he looked at her from the mirror. He actually didn't want to hurt her. He just wanted to complain about how her standards were so damn low. But he couldn't say that.

"Yeah right" she clinched her jaw and looked outside the window.

"I seriously know you're not into Todd, I just feel like generally you go after fuckboys" he could've expressed that better, but that's what he said either way.

"No I don't" Natalie instantly responded while Corinna did too.
"That's so not true" Corinna said and looked at Natalie. The two girls smiled knowing that Natalie had a crush on David. Who was the polar opposite of fuckboy.

The conversation kept going when Todd surprised them by saying that he "actually digs" Natalie.
David stayed silent for a while trying to comprehend what he had just heard. It seemed to his head like such a bad idea.

His feet got cold while his head got sweaty. Todd had locked his eyes on David waiting for his next word. David didn't know what to say though. He thought it was a horrible idea not only because he liked Natalie himself but also because he knew Todd wouldn't treat her right. Not as she deserved.

When Natalie burst into laughter to break the silence and Corinna followed by, David smiled. At least he knew that Natalie was not into him. He let out a breath and started joking about it.
