It was a busy day for David, and busy days without Natalie were horrible. They also kind is fought right before she left.
It was nothing serious, it started from her bringing him the wrong groceries and then they ended up fighting over the fact that Natalie was his best friend before she was his assistant.
"But I pay you now" David made the horrible mistake to say that night.
Natalie's eyes got watery, she couldn't believe her friend was this ungrateful.
"I basically pay you to be my best friend!" David tried making it look less bad but he ended up making it worse.
"Well, try and find some new assistant and best friend then. If it's that easy" Natalie grabbed her phone and walked away from his room.
She spend the whole night packing things up to fly to Chicago. She needed time off. If that meant that she would get fired, then okay.
While they were separated, they thought to themselves. Natalie really thought she was hard on him. Her work was really easy some days. It seemed like she was getting paid to be herself some times.
David on the other hand felt bad for what he had said. He would never want Natalie to leave him alone. She was his best friend and his everything. He wouldn't be who he was without her.
He thought about it so much that he tried convincing all of his friend to fly to Chicago with him. He didn't want to seem so desperate. But he did.
When he landed in Chicago he Ubered to Natalie's hotel. She knew the hotel she was staying in since they always stayed there. He could also check his credit card that she had been using, but he didn't. He would never do that.
He arrived at the hotel and asked for her room. When the young woman suggested letting Natalie know, he smiled and said this was a surprise.
He walked to her floor, and thought of the words he would use. "Sorry" was definitely one of those. He stood right outside of her room and prayed she didn't have a man in that room. It would be really awkward, and he would get depressed.
But, he really didn't know why he would be depressed. They weren't dating and back in the day, he would never think of Natalie like a girl. She was only a friend. But now, he would get sad and jealous seeing her with other guys. But anyways, he prayed he didn't have to go through that right now.
He knocked on the door twice and heard her walk to the door, he guessed she looked through the whole who was this, and when she didn't open right away, he guessed she looked at herself in the mirror and fixed her hair or her dress.
She opened the door looking at a very smoky David holding chocolate, her favorite chocolate. She was moody, but she gave up and smiled. "Ugh come in"
David quickly followed her and waited for her to look at him. When she finally did he only said "I'm sorry". She smiled. She didn't know what else to do.
"I'm sorry too" she leaned to grab his hand.
"No no, you don't have to be sorry, I'm the jerk" he let her hold his hand and he brought her in for a hug. He caressed her hair and didn't want to let go. "I don't know why I said what I said. I don't take you for granted and I need you"
"I need you too" she smiled. "Not as much as you need me, but still. I only said what I said because I care about you! You work too much, you care too much about everyone else"
"That's ironic. You said you care about me and then you say we fought because I care about others" he joked. His hand still holding hers.
"I have to care about you. You don't have to" she explained.
"Well, I have to care about you, that's what I promised your dad when I told him you were moving in with me" David said and Natalie teared up. What was up with her getting emotional all the time.
David didn't even think this was an emotional moment but seeing Natalie teary, he got too. Natalie laughed. "Oh my God we're such drama queens"
David smiled and hugged her one more time. "I'm glad I didn't loose you"
Natalie wipes her tears behind David's back. When they stopped hugging, she looked at him. "You'll never loose me" she wanted to watch him when she said that. She wanted him to understand that she meant it.
"And you're not gonna loose me either" he answered.
"That's how it works dummy!" she joked and gave him a kiss in the cheek.
When Ilya gave Natalie a call, she announced that David was in town so they decided to meet up for Ilya's teeth surgery.
Natalie and David Uber to Ilya's House to meet up with him. They let Jason and Dima know and they all meet at the doctors office.
It only took Ilya to be ready to walk about half an hour, and they started driving around getting content for David's vlogs. When they were at Starbucks, Natalie was getting their drinks and David couldn't stop looking at her.
When Jason noticed he said "Natalie is a pretty girl" meaning to make David understand that his crush was showing.
"Ya she's beautiful" Ilya said before David even realize what was going on.
"You think she's pretty?" David asked Ilya.
"Fuck yeah" Ilya answered not being aware that he didn't know what he was saying.
David pulled out his camera and pointed it at Ilya. He thought of an idea. He would know if Natalie has feelings for Ilya or anybody, and he will get content for his vlogs. Also, his fans might actually stop thinking he's dating Natalie. He filmed some of his jokes and then popped the question.
"Be honest with me do you have a crush on Natalie?"
